It would be nice if the SP able to stay at this level after going ex-dividend. But most likely it will fall more than the divi as always. Probably a good idea to sell before it goes ex-dividend, then back buy back afterwards. This is not a recommendation though. Please DYOR.😂😂😂
In fact, not just ATYM, but all miners were up as well, and AAL was the top riser today.
The rise was related to China's stimulus package announcement today.
Last year's final was 13.4p. if they increase it by 5%, then it will be 14.07p (at least 14p)! For me, I am happy with just 13.4p. It's already good enough.
Lol, Lloyds is truly a lame donkey indeed, so hopeless! All banks were up today but Lloyds, oh dear! I wonder will it go all the way down to the 20's again like in 2008 or the PPI crisis? 😱😱😱
Yes indeed robleo, did you have a good day?
LGEN is back up to 253p once again. So, I have changed my mind as well. Will stay with it and give it another go. See if it can stay up this time. Let's hope that I haven't squandered another chance of getting out with profits, lol.
Have a nice evening mate and let's bring on tomorrow! 💪💪💪🤞🤞🤞
Yes, this BB has gradually turned into a political forum just like the Lloyds BB. I can't join in because I don't like talking about politics. lol.
The CEO has bought 22 shares, wow, what a vote of confidence! And The SP responded with an 18p up, hahahahaha....🤣🤣
No one listens to the downgrade today. The SP goes up strongly. In fact it has past or reached or getting closer to all of these so called experts' target prices, and £2.40 is looking possible once again, lol. 😂 😂 😂
I am not an expert on this, but it probably will keep on paying the dividend, with no increase in payout untill things get better, only just a guess.😁😁
Yes, quite likely, perhaps as soon as tomorrow.
Here we go, onwards and upwards!!
Oh, by the way bertram, you should not ask for any advice on here, because this is only a chat board. None of us are professionals or experts. In fact, no one should recommend or advice others to buy or sell any particular share at all. Those who did it purely with their own agendas, mostly were just doing pump and dump. Therefore we should be careful, not to be too trusting. Always DYOR. 😁😁😁
Morning Foxh0le, Morgan Stanley double-upgraded Persimmon to 'overweight' from 'underweight' and hiked the price target to 1,685p from 1,131p.
Hey Bertram, good morning. How I wish I could help you mate. My strategy and most of my past trades are all shown in my posts. You can see that I am no better than a headless chicken, and I am just a blind mouse purely relying on luck. I don't think that I am able to offer you any help at all, sorry my friend, lol.
Well, like what I just said: you can't win them all. I have sold my Aviva at about 415, but it never dropped below that ever since, it went up slowly to over 430 something instead. I also got rid of my HSBA as well on the same day at 592, then saw it climbing all its way to over 630. It has just fallen back to the 590's now, because of a downgrade. Maybe I have a chance to buy it back soon. 😂 😂 😂
Good evening robleo, oh yes, it's all just a gamble when buying or selling a share. You never know which way it will go afterwards. But I was lucky to have sold TUI when it has gone over £6 and sold PSN at 1475 then bought them back yesterday ended up with an extra 80 shares with the money from the sale, lol.
I should have sold LGEN as well when it got up to 253. Well, you can't win them all, and there is always the next chance hey? Also It seems that selling my LLOY and BARC shares wasn't a bad idea either. They both fell more afterwards. I probably can buy LLOY back at under 40p, if the market wobbles one more time.
Have a good evening mate and good luck.
It must be 3 or 4 times that LGEN had reached 253 and fell back. Now, I have made up my mind to sell it the next time when it gets there once again, then buy it back if it retraces to under 245. The only thing is that will it fall back again next time when gets to over 253? Most likely it won't, particularly if I have sold it, lol. 😂😂😂😂
I have bought back all my shares yesterday and ended up with extra 80 shares. Let's hope that the retrace is now done, and we'll see £15 soon. Good luck to everyone. Have a great day!
Yes S_K_R, I know TUI is a good recovery play. I have no doubt that the SP can reach that level if the right conditions are given. Unfortunately, potential and reality is different. We probably will see £9 this year, but equally it probably will go back £4 again, if something nasty happens to the world. Therefore we can only wish that all things come to us will be good. Hope that the Middle East conflicts and the war in Ukraine will not escalate.
So, good luck to everyone and to the world.🤞🤞🤞
Well, I first bought TUI after its latest RI at 517. Then I topped up twice at 555 and 580. Saw it dropped all the way to below £5. I topped up again at 490 and brought my break even to 538.8, but it kept on falling to touch £4! My total paper losses at that point was over £5k! I didn't expect to be able to get out alive at 628 and made over £4k of profit. The total turnaround from its £4 low was over £9k? I was greedy and gave back £1k with my two unsuccessful trades afterwards. Still, that was a lucky escape for me...phew...
