Surprisingly, it didn't do any harm to the SP. It did initially drop 7% but quickly recovered. Now it has gone back up the the overnight level. Thank God....
Oh no, just got an RNS. GGP's CEO is to leave. This could be a disaster day for GGP SP....oh God!
Sorry, I typed one too many "my"....lol
Good morning CSDI;
Here we go again, another morning, rise and shine!
Oh yes, GGP had a good day yesterday. Only 2 more % to go for a full recovery from the crash. Hope it will continue upward today and help my wobbling my portfolio.
Also hope you will do well too with yours and pay back your mortgage soon.
Oh, and time to get out of bed again..... hahahaha

Good evening CSDI;
Sorry to hear that you both have to work hard over Xmas period. I am a couch potato now and have totally forgotten about working for over 13 years, hahaha.
My portfolio did start the day up quite a bit but most of them pulled back and made very little change at the end of the day overall but already better than expected anyway. Was thinking of a big red day when the Brexit talk did not end with a deal.
Oh yes, the big issue of the Brexit talk is mostly about fish. I guess the extension will not make much difference as both sides most likely would not compromise. There won't be a deal no matter how much longer the extension will be, I am afraid. Only a delayed outcome that's all. Britain will have to do business with the EU without the trade agreement eventually. That's my take.
Have a very good evening.

Morning CSDI, my friend;
Good to hear that Mrs CSDI is feeling better now.
Well, I like watching dramas on Netflix and action movies too. My son likes motor racing but I don't, lol
I have learned something in fish keeping. A couple months ago, when I decided to get rid of the fish tank in my dinning room. I tried to move the fish to the big tank in my hobby room. I caught the most of them but three managed to escape and hid in the thick vegetation and shelters. Day after days, they just gone hiding as soon as I came near to the fish tank. The traditional theory of fish only have 7 seconds of memory is incorrect and completely inaccurate. In fact, fish got memory as good as the elephants!!!
So, it's Monday morning again. Hope that the markets will not be as bad as feared. So far the FTSE100 future is only about 10 points down. Maybe it won't be a "Black Monday", lol
Good morning again and catch you up later....

It sounds like your Mrs is really suffering from her illness and is often going through rough time. You better take good care of her. Or maybe she should stop working....hahahaha
Well, I used to like football too and I support WHU but not anymore. I don't even watch football match now. I spend most of my time watching Netflix during weekends and gardening when in season. My hobbies is very limited. Other than watching TV, I keep fish(tropical fish). Got two fish tanks(used to have three). My big tank is 72 inches in length can take up to half a ton of water, keeping mostlly platies and goppies. Both tanks are heavily planted and nicely decorated too.......lol
Well, time to switch on my TV and get on the Netflix now.....
Have a nice evening.......and will be back Monday morning...

Sorry for the typo and misspellings...
Good day CSDI;
So, it's weekend again and life still goes on, lol
Investment wise, it ended the week a little disappointed but nothing goes on in straight line. Hopefully the coming week will be better, although it's rather unlikely with the bloody Brexit talk is still dragging on.....
Anyway, good to hear that Mrs CSDI's conditions are in control and your blended family is getting on so well. You know what? I watched the film "Blended" three times. It was very funny and enjoyable....lol........I have a smaller family with only a son, a daughter and two grandsons, age 10 and 6. Therefore Xmas does not cost much, hahahaha.......
I also liked playing chess many many years ago but I never played against anyone but only with computer AI. it was computer games.....hehe. Also I am not as good as good and I have stopped playing for more than 20 years now.
As for share dealings, I have forgotten when did I start. It has become a hobby just like you after I have retired. But I am no good with that and I never learn. I am kind of playing fire with my pension pot. Hope that I still have something left for my children and grandchildren when I finally have kicked the bucket........hahahahaha
Have a nice weekend....see you on Monday....

Good evening CSDI.
It seems that your family has some sort of health issues there and your wife got long term illness. It must hard for you, since you have a business to run apart from looking after your family but I believe many families do have similar problems. In fact I, myself have been through something like that as well. Lost my wife to the big C in 2007 then I sold my small business and retired early in the same year. Now I have been retired for 13 years. Got quite a bit of health issues myself too. I have arthritis, bronchitis attacks from time to time and I was hard of hearing since my early 20's. Now I am completely deaf but I am not complaining and still enjoy my life to the full.....lol
True, that most people find the prolong lockdown hard to bear but I have been living on my own for 13 years. It makes no difference to me. In fact I like my solitary life very much..... hahahaha
I am sorry to hear that Mrs CSDI is unwell. I hope that she will recover soon and be ready for the big day.
Yes, a slightly better day today. It seems that those doom mongers have gone and stopped rocking the boat. GGP's SP is gradually settling down. It actually has turned a little blue too. Ted is still a little red but also blue occasionally. Good thing is that Lloyds is doing worse since I sold up. Therefore is wasn't a bad decision after all....lol
The general markets are falling back because of the Brexit talk uncertainty but hope that it won't cause too much damages.
Now let's look forward to a Xmas rally (hopefully there will one) and a better 2021.......
Morning my friend, oh no no no, I am not young. I am 70. I don't know how many years I got left to recover the money I have lost....lol...but nothing is impossible and that's why I am still full of hope and confidence with my investment. It can get worse, much worse but it can also get better, much better if I don't give up.
So, I am ready for another day. Be it good or be it bad. I shall carry on marching forward as usual and I wish you a very nice day my friend. Tell me good news later...
Ok, time to get out of bed......
Hi again CSDI, it does seem that you really respect Mr Stephen Bland. He must be a very good teacher. I follow no one but just doing it like a blind mouse. That's the reason why I am sure to beat you and win the "Idiot Investor's Title " by a mile, since I have lost much more money than you. After today's disaster, my portfolio is now -17%, whilst the FTSE100 has actually gone up from when I was only 15% down. How ridiculous I am?? That's truly unbelievable!! It's not new to me anymore. I already got used to it after all these years......lol
But I'll never say die and look ahead to tomorrow. Because I am only down but not out yet. I shall live to fight in another day. Goodnight, see you in the morning.....
By the way, I sincerely hope that you will do well with your portfolio and making plenty of money for you and your wife to enjoy your retirement more....lol
Nice to chat with you again CSDI. I am lucky indeed to have picked two big winners. Unfortunately, I made too many mistakes and wasted a lot of money. But that's life. You win some, you lose some.
Those big names like Lloyds, Barclays and RBS all cost me a fortune. Now I am still holding Vodafone, SLA and RDS. They are also money pit, which are seriously damaging my wealth and it doesn't stop there. I have just made the same mistake once again: sold Lloyds and bought Ted Baker. It has dropped 9p two days after my purchase. Oh my, what luck!! But I still think it will recover. Because it has dropped to sub 80p twice and rebounded well. Therefore, there is no reason why it won't do it again. Thus I am going to hold until it does. Wish me luck....lol
Good morning CSDI. As you should know that I am no expert in share dealings. Therefore, I couldn't give you any better idea. Your portfolio looks good to me, far better than mine anyway. So I wish you the very best of luck.
Hi CSDI, I have found it at last....I am truly thick and dim..lol
I'll take a good look at your portfolio tomorrow and get to you, as it's a bit late , bed time for me now........ hahahaha!!
Goodnight, sweet dreams..
