4p a massive milestone??
In my humble opinion this is worth over 20p right now. Not next year. Not once more contracts secured or once Ford go into production with the F150 but right now. Why? Have a look at the Cenkos forecast, have a look at what they are using as a discount rate. Look back over the last couple of years and see how they have (or haven't) reduced that discount rate as (1) we have made progress towards our goals so risk has diminished and (2) as risk free rates have crashed following Covid-19. Government debt is being sold with negative interest rates!!
Think about what you would view as a reasonable discount rate. Think about what it will do to the Cenkos price target when Cenkos actually get around to updating their discount rate. Then feel very happy, have a cup of tea and smile to yourself knowingly.
The biggest thing anyone should be talking about here is the cost of capital. Proper stock valuation is done by discounting future cash flows and discounting by a risk adjusted cost of capital. Long term holders - have a look at the discount factor Cenkos is using and think about whether it made sense even before the recent crash in the risk free rate. Think about what difference it makes to Cenkos's valuation if Cenkos get real on their cost of capital. It is worth quite a bit more to our valuation than even a very good contract win.
Face masks is not new for SEE. Remember where See started - dusty mine sites. Remember those billions of KM or real world experience discovering "edge cases" and learning how to deal with them.
As SEE says:
The face and eye tracking algorithms in Seeing Machines FDM processor feed a Driver Distraction Event (DDE) algorithm which must be robust to face masks, sunglasses, facial expression, behaviour, hats, wigs, jewellery and all the myriad of human behaviours which might indicate distraction.
Not buying this one yet. I think all the stuff posted today is about external facing cameras in Suburus not internal facing cameras. For example, the picture on Willard Tu's Xilinx post https://www.linkedin.com/posts/willard-tu-87689a_automotive-subaru-adas-activity-6702056062960361472-KHwu/
This picture is of external facing cameras and doses not show any internal facing cameras. You can see how this looks when installed to the vehicle by following this link:

That accounts for the Xilinx & Veoneer linking.
How about Kevin Tanaka's comment? Well he worked at Xilinx for12 years and was with them until 2017 so perfectly possible he was involved in winning this work for Xilinx when he was there.
Suburu are a small fish. A switch from Fotonation to Seeing Machines would be very interesting because of what it says about Fotonation but if Suburu are still working with Fotonation, that doesn't bother me.
I'll change my tune if we see Paul or Mike liking the Linkedin post...
Seeing machines customer, GM, who have successfully used SEE tech as part of their Supercruise smart driving tech talk about electric & smart being central to their future strategy
"In the next five years, more than 50% of our capital and engineering deployment will go towards electrification and autonomous-drive technology. That should give you an indication where GM is betting on its future," GM's Blissett said.

Rare for anything to go up in a straight line. Share price graph continues to show a steady rise from the March low with oscillations around that rise trend. More of the same is fine - it gets us to our destination.
Great post, Londoner7. I know what you mean about SigmaRoc, I have been finding that I have to dig to find the info i want. Surely at some point SigmaRoc will start reporting more clearly on performance growth in each business segment rather than making us work it out for ourselves, hiding their light under a bushel. SigmaRoc directors picked up more shares yesterday.
I think the sector could do very well. Good luck all!
I like this sector at the moment. I think the underlying asset value is under-appreciated by the wider market and I think they are going to out-perform medium term market expectations on profit.
Looking at Breedon and SigmaRoc. Strong results from SigmaRoc this morning. Not sure if that makes Breedon look bad or reinforces my confidence in this sector, and therefor the investment case for both Breedon and SigmaRoc...
SigmaRoc reporting today flat like-for-like sales (great in the face of Covid-19) in the half just finished and £10m half year underlying EBITDA and you can buy the whole company for less than £100m even after this mornings 10% price gain. Interesting comparison for Breedon though of course the two companies are different if overlapping.
