It crossed my mind about Apple too and dismissed it quickly, I then thought about Qualcomm supplying them, which would benefit us and then i discovered that Apple plan on making their own modems for their phones as they dont want to use Qualcomm anymore, although insiders say that Qualcomm are so far in front its a massive undertaking, Apple have however been poaching Qualcomm staff. Its anyones guess, the money involved is worth the investment for them.

2014 for me too, i thought 2021 was retirement for me and it was soooo far away, but we are here now and still feel ages away from retiring.

Thats why are licensing, we arent going into new things but other companies can use our tech to build on and invent all the new things they want as long as theyre paying us. No risk

No, not suggesting 5p in two years but the facts are we get very little in the way of contract value for the market to judge us on. We have things in the pipeline such as aviation which has been dragging on for years, Qualcomm which wont bear any fruit until 2023, licensing deal with large semiconductor who knows but potentially 2023 before the chips will be getting used so until we get paid the market knows nothing. When the f150 goes on the road that will hopefully boost the price, but Im just being realistic based on previous form.
You say I hope we get some news and are at 7-8p in the near future, yeah me too, but i also dont want to start going back into the 4s. Looking back we have been here so many times waiting, we have always been involved with massive multinational companies and it hasnt done us shareholders any favours yet

What PM did say was when you have a contract with the oem its sticky and once youre in generally you stay in and get more models. That doesnt seem to be the way with smarteye though.
I cant see GM using anyone else for supercruise, there was an issue with sun light but that has been rectified, but apart from that it has received accolades from all sides so why change it?

I assume controlled settings mean an autonomous lane like the bus lanes we have at the moment for autonomous cars only. If it brings down the number of cars in cities then it will work. Highway autonomy will be coming first as shown by supercruise

These dates are correct but driver monitoring can be torque based which is what the majority have went for at this moment, Nissan, VW and the frenchies to name but a few. The top end cars that want to offer supercruise like driving experiences will need vision based to deal with the hand over, it will filter down after 2025. Qualcomm and co are not goin to be in cars until 2023 earliest and I expect that to be top end too.
