With 3.48 and smaller amount at 2.56 ive got pummeled - question im asking myself today for first time is this which stock in the related sector is likely to double the quickest from here an airline (e.g. easyjet) or RR.
wanting to climb aboard at these prices but being heavy into Rolls already pretty exposed to long range market. IAG seems to be down about 73% in six months v easyJet 66%. My heart tells me BA (the plane geek in me) but my head easyJet for better/quicker recovery given short range market/limited business class model/no staff on great 30 year contracts blah blah blah. Logical chaps?
If only the UK could have these visions and back our companies to deliver https://simpleflying.com/france-airbus-a320-successor/
So my understanding (and am complete novice) is that RR sell engines at a loss and make the £ back through servicing the engine. I guess what would be good to know is does each contract have a minimum £ recovery through servicing irrespective of number of hours flown - one would assume so else airlines would just order an engine run it to break even point then stop using it and order another (how simplified). I guess what would be good to know is if 30% of RR engines are going to be taken out of service and not rack up any more flying hours what £ would they still be contractually entitled to.
See Lufthansa binning 6 of their A380's effective immediate, that's 24 engines with no more servicing cash already and we are just getting going, ouch!
Anyone got any thoughts on this Forbes article about the Trent v GEnx:

Hoping we see more of the above sorts of discussions on this board going forward.

Sad
I feel i have gotten into a hole reading this forum the last year - should really be taking decent profit (on what is peanuts), but then reading JL insights, Hawkey's RTBC and everyone's general informative and good natured banter would not be the same without skin in the game.... s*d it ill stay, keep up the good work guys!
Been looking at this for the last couple of weeks on and off - am a complete and utter novice so when i read the following on their website should it raise any red flags? any guidance appreciated cheers "As Urals Energy is not a company subject to the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules and since Cyprus company law does not require similar disclosure, the Company is limited in the data it can provide to satisfy the requirements for disclosure of the interests of significant shareholders within AIM Rule 17"
