This is no Santa Rally . As I posted about 10 days ago I do not expect a rally this year although the charts indicate,if there is one which I strongly doubt,it will be be between 15th and 20th December.
As I said last week, there is unlikely to be a Santa Rally this year. Possibly only between the 15th to 20 th December according to current trading levels and my charts.
I always post on here towards the end of November regarding the Santa Rally. This year I can confirm the Rally will start much later than usual ,if at all.
My charts indicate a possible rise for 4 days around December 15th to 2oth
It is soon time for F A B to decide, under Stock Exchange rules, whether to bid for SC . Suggest now may be the time as we in the Snooker world say to "fill your boots"..
LLucan: while I concur with your comments in relation to SC I was referring to the outcome of share buybacks in general where the benefits do not necessarily materialise for Shareholders.
LLucan "positive impact on the share price" Not necessarily and in many cases certainly not ie poor trading results, economy downturn and senior management changes may lead to a subsequent declining share price.
I concur with most recent views on here of a 1.6p Div and a further share buy back. No special Div will be paid. Impairments are my biggest concern as I am sure there will be a hefty write down. When I see good results I always expect a strong SP rise but generally the SP goes the other way. Will this time be the same?
I don't like buy backs either . I believe it is more to show how impressive the performance of the Board has been. In my experience very little benefit ever seems to trickle down to the Shareholders
