Trading solid , Impairments WOW

A solid set of results considering the present climate. The next quarter will be interesting especially the figure for impairments . Definitely a "hold " situation going forward.

How will the sp change tomorrow? Explain in one sentence

Aii that rubbish about shorting and how the price would plummet today,especially when it was made clear there were no short positions. If you have not disappeared up your own backside the people on this Board would love to hear what further great predictions you have.

Being a Pensioner with little income Ihope the sp soars over the next month. So I can sell and live a decent life. Always 2 sides to a coin.

Having given a change of view regarding the results I believe the Coronavirus is another main concern for SC during the current year because of it's high profile in China.I believe this year will be a year of consolidation at best. My opinion is that the sp will struggle to get anywhere near 700 in the near future

I am not expecting good results due to legacy issues,restructuring costs,increasing loan impairments and a challenging economy. Although I can see a small increase in dividend payment I would not be at all surprised if it stayed the same as last year

Very encouragiing update from the Company.

The results will probably be good as you comment but I do not expect the sp to rise above 750p in the foreseeable future.

What's happened to your £10.00?

Jammare: look back over the last few years and you will see that the have said 55p nearly all of the time and even when the price was in the mid70's.Only recently have they been a"Hold" as well.

Must be time for another Broker's rating from these clowns. Another 55p and SELL on the table must be a good bet.

£10 is also a dream in my opinion.£8 to £8.50 is the maximum one can expect even with all the recent good news.

I know there has been a very good rise today,is this going to continue into a Santa rally? We have not had one for three years so we are due an upward progression into the New Year

When is the Santa rally going to start? Also why not a share consolidation as well as a share buyback

Must be time for Berenberg Bank to recommend Lloyds their usual SELL and 55p price . After the last 2 days trading they are probably thinking they are overvalued!!!!

Further to my recent posts I am now less concerned regarding this company. The RNS today goes a long way to easing my concerns. I shall still slightly cautious until the final hurdle is negotiated whic I am sure it will soon . GLA

You may recall that last week i felt uneasey with this share. As I stated I have been a market investor for many years and now my unease is gathering pace.My sentiments concurred with MikG . I woder if islandgirl still remains just as positive with her great buying opportunity .Ithink we should be told. For the moment treat this share with extreme caution is my advice for those who wish to take it .
