The EU is free to price it's lemons at any rate it so chooses. The UK is not obliged to buy them at that rate.

It should have no fear in the global marketplace.

Likewise it should not expect it' customers to pick up the tab for any subsidy it gives to it's producers (for instance through the CAP).

There is no one solution to the puzzle, it is complicated ,but i dont look to our so called "masters and politicians " for the answers,ultimately we all have individual decisions to make ,for better or worse .........

Ok guys .if you have a choice to live like this for the rest of your life or you say sod it if i get it then its up to nature etc what do you choose?
My daughter said to me the other night that she was fed up living like this and would rather take her chances and get on with life (she is 24 ,and lots of her age say the same thing).I say protect the older population but let the youngsters be free .(average age of deaths still over 80 i think )
If we had shut the borders last year you lot would have gone nuts accusing us of all sorts wouldnt ya ?

We will never know as that scenario never played out ,still looks like all world leaders are a bunch of headless chickens ,bar perhaps Aus and N.Z ,but islands should always have an advantage in these situations .I mailed my M.P in december 2019 and asked to close the borders.............
Got no reply of course .

Tro looking at it rationally ,none of them really know what they are doing ,they are chasing their tails,being led by events that are like a fast moving hurricane.Thats why i desist from being too critical .
Maybe herd immunity was the right way to go back in march eh ??
