UK as a sovereign nation post BREXIT supported Oxford and AZ and ordered 100 million doses of COVID vaccine to vaccinate the entire population, manufactured from UK facilities, back in June 2020. Good idea, well done Boris.

The EU procurement folk dithered and argued and eventually ordered 400 million doses in Sept 2020 to be manufactured from EU facilities. That effort is still underway but has encountered some expected yield problems in the vats in Belgium, and there is at least a two month delay.

The Pfizer factory in Belgium has shut shown for extension work to meet expected demand.

Both of the French vaccines failed clinical tests.

So AZ is the only game in town, and some Cypriot woman wants UK to give up its vaccine programme to help those who are screwing us at Dover with customs rules? Get stuffed I say.

6 Ibuprofen plus 2 litres of water a day cures gout, so why try colchicine? its anti inflammatory and deals with symptoms not causes, and not an antiviral, surely?

Perhaps Giles or Raydaar can offer a comment on this, but I don’t understand why private investors who have bought shares through an internet broker nominee like Hargreaves Lansdown or Interactive Investor feel the need to send a TR1 (voting rights) form to the Issuer for RNS publication.

Shares bought through an internet broker are legally held by the broker although the purchaser owns the beneficial interest in them. As for voting rights, the purchaser has to instruct the nominee through the Corporate Action box of the internet account for voting on GM resolutions. If you want to go to a GM in person to vote, the broker has to give you a letter of authority.

Just to put this myth of nominees lending to shorters to bed.. from HL.....note the last sentence

Nominees cannot lend stock, they are not beneficial owners of the stock
