Crested, it is my understanding that consolidation applies to these warrants too, the number of shares gets reduced by 50:1 and the price goes up proportionately, 8p becomes £4 and 10p becomes £5. Unless there is another option which the BOD will have to outline.
308,
There is no pressure on warrant holders as they expire in 2026 and will be consolidated on a pro-rate basis, plus there is no way the SP will be over 7p for five consecutive days prior to the EGM.
I think a touch of reality may be required!
Guys, don’t sweat over tox results they are already known and the BOD have brought themselves some time by saying that it would be reported by the end of Q1. Similarly consolidation is pretty much a done deal as they only need a simple majority, and by the way some brokers have handled this it would suggest that they are in favour. As yet we don’t know the exact consolidation value but we can have an educated guess. Everything is looking good for the future, at this point.
GUG, that’s Feb out of the mix then. Q1 not looking too good either. I think Pablo was the glue holding it together as Masterman is a waste of space.
IMHO, I believe the SP is being managed/manipulated to achieve a pre determined price at the point of consolidation. We will see on the days leading up to the event, but it usually takes the average price at a number of trading days immediately prior to the event. We should see a SP of between £1.50 to £2.00 depending on where that average sits. Time will tell.
Elcap, I just wish they would be open and upfront about their plans. If the want to consolidate in order to raise £20 to £30m and have a wish to list on Nasdaq, that’s great, but to plough on without knowing their plans is something I do not support.
Mafuta, to be honest that throw away line has been used many times before and utter bull****! Consolidation doesn’t attract ii’s but the science should. I totally support and reinforce your buy stance.
I still want to see and hear a strategic plan and reasoning for the about turn, which as yet has not been provided.
It is now blatantly obvious that Q4 results are particularly poor, hence the delay, while MM works out how to put a positive spin on the worst of situations.
This really is a complete catastrophe!
SOG, I would like to add,, for clarity. I am against consolidation without a clear strategy and purpose which as yet the board hasn't provided. If they were to outline the fact that they need to consolidate to reach a SP of X and subsequently raise an amount of Y, to reach a point Z, i can fully accept that and would be more inclined to agree. As yet they have not done this and all we have is pipeline drugs in our pocket. we all know the funds won't last forever but this aspect of the business is where Sareum are lacking. Having voiced my concern I expect consolidation will happen as a simple majority is the only requirement.
James, I am just re-iterating a point made by another poster (earlier) that penny shares can jump to multiples of a pound without consolidation. I believe that our drug candidates have the potential to do this. I'm sure we will all find out in due course, especially those that are here for the duration (long haul).
Celtic, I'm staying put, not selling, Sareum has great potential that will benefit millions of people in the future and I have not lost sight of that. Our drug pipeline is like nothing i have ever seen for such a small company. Yes, i am anti-consolidation and have already registered my voting intentions with my broker. Either way I hope this does well for everyone involved.
SOG, agree about the MCAP, you also state that consolidation makes no difference, so why do it? your words not mine!
Dilution is likely to occur either way but what you remove is the market volatility that enables trading. If you remove the volatility by consolidating you get a very stable share price with little fluctuation and less trading.
Celtic, if you take Thoths 28p as a target, that's a 7 bagger from here which could realistically happen. if you take a consolidated share price of 200p it will never multibag to 1400p, please give me an example if you can find one. I understand Thoths ultimate target was much higher and I agree that this has huge potential.
The only thing that can circumvent this is a buyout in excess of £3Bn wouldn't that be nice!!!!!
