Answer some or most of them in a positive fashion and the rest will fall into line quite nicely for me.
All across the UKs major cities, connectivity between Air, Rail & Tram link is part of a wider strategy. Combine that with local employment in the regional airports/hubs, the suits wanting quick and easy access and return from London I can see more 'incentives/subsidies being offered to make this work.

I'd certainly agree with those thoughts Squirty. Although I'm intrigued as to how supply of shares will be managed for any distribution into the JSE market.
Flicking through a variety of readily available data, the suggestion is that dual listing has offered very little - in fact just more administration and associated costs.
Notwithstanding, you can understand the perceived benefits of listing in your home country from an inclusion point of view.

I agree with what you say though. When we travelled with the kids to Florida on Virgin in 98 the service was outstanding. Lets just say it wasn't anywhere near the same in 2012.
Plus I could never be 4rsed filling in the forms for collecting miles as you needed a bucket load for a cup of tea in the airport.
