I am expecting 287 pounds 9 April but expect a cut next div announcement which may be announced at the AGM.

Because most other businesses are cutting or stopping their dividends to help their accounts .
It’s not rocket science. Soon find out when next divs are announced. Also please give me examples of anyone in the investment world who says it will not. What’s wrong with making the same comment twice.

I had a look at Abcam a few years ago when I first started my share dealings with them and they had reagents then and just checked now and they still do them. Maybe I don’t understand the science. Anyway many thanks for the link . Information is everything.

I expect the div to be halved, which I’m not worried about . This is def a £17 to 18 share. I’m completely topped up I’m almost burping. Extremely pleased with the 5% odd in Hindustan Unilever, great bit of business.

Would Abcam by any chance supply reagents for Covid -19?

I would not expect any casualties just yet, maybe in 8 weeks time and that would in my view be small operators. Easyjet Ryanair etc will just create more shares and as easyjet share issue is not to big they can easily raise the cash which may then make the sp about 7 pounds in normal circumstances. Plus then you get the euphoria after the virus has passed with the return of buyers.

Read new scientist online. Also in lots of other scientific publications.

Maybe he would like to return the 60 million in dividends he received recently to help the company.

Methinks the cost of flying will be a bit more next year. Still with the money I’ve saved with not having a holiday this year ( May,June, July, ) hopefully have 10 days September. Then next year a bigger holiday best hotel somewhere cheap currency and warm.

Agree with your comments JTS, good area to be in and they have acquired a fair few wind farms over the last 12 months. Also the forward prices for their electricity is covered. The sp has just followed the rest of the market it’s concerns over the virus.

Very basic I use Hargreaves landsdown for looking up info . Bestinvest are slightly cheaper so I deal through them. Although bells are cheaper still but I’ve been with Binvest for quite awhile.

Same as all other sites deal from the bell Or pending order from the previous day.

Sharehunter3, your very welcome. Although gilts don’t pay as much as other funds they are safe and gov backed. Also it’s an absolute certainty that inflation will hit all of us in the near future most taxes will rise as the gov are conservative after all and have been forced into Keynesian economics.

Sorry for being downbeat but that’s the way it is. I’m lucky have small civil service pension and state pension as well. Don’t let anyone breath on you !
