You are spot on PollyWold lithium has been found in large quantities, the risk here is as always in this part of the world eg South America, what are the Govt going to get up to. In many ways it's a bit like investing in Africa, tons of opportunity for everybody, including the Govt, providing they can keep their sticky fingers out of it.

It's always the same with these companies, they go silent for months on end and wonder why their share price takes a hammering. They need to hire a PR company and keep themselves out there with news and information. Its not that difficult.

Owl you don’t have a clue. This is great news and should shut up those who were saying there has been no mention of a JV recently. It’s ongoing and this cash raise will help COPL. Those saying this is death spiral finance seem to forget that this company is producing oil at nearly 2000 per month. This allows the company to move forward. Expect lots of noise today as the traders see their favourite trading share become very difficult.

Very glad to see the new guy who has been tasked with improving operations. Every well seems to have one problem or another and this move should help eliminate this in future drills.

Just too many shares out there now. When I bought in there were less than 4Bn shares and I thought that was a lot. At the time we all thought 5/6Bn and sold up. 21Bn and more dosh will be needed in the winter for a flow test if they think it's good to go after this drill. Just got to hope it looks really good and we get a nice rise, which of course will be sold into hard and then off we go again.

Whilst nobody likes dilution there is enough oil in the ground to more than compensate everybody very nicely. They cannot afford to hang around though and they cannot miss out this summer as they wait on a JV. They have 2bn drums of oil that they should be able to get out of the ground. Sold at $3 a barrel (they should be able to get more) that's roughly £5 a share if its sat at 1bn shares issued. That would be more than good enough for me. Even at 2bn shares issued £2.5 a share is not to be sniffed at. But they need to get a move on and they need a drill that fully meets all targets as at the moment every drill seems to come up short in one way or another. Every year we say it's going to be a big one, well this is another year that needs to be big.

They need to raise about 15M which will cost about 65M shares at current price. It will take away the will they won't they discussion, it will allow them to move forward this summer which will give everybody something to aim for and it will help with any JV discussion as they will see we are not short of cash. Just get on with it as the longer we sit in the doldrums the more the SP will slip, especially if the 88e drill does not come up with a good result. I guess you could gamble and wait for that to come in as if its good it should help our SP, but it is a gamble and 88e despite 7 drills have not produced a drop of oil.

Tru call it a day, nobody in their right mind is going to get rid of the board or the CEO at this critical time in the companies history. Next year if things have not improved or got worse you will have a case but right now utter madness.

Scott thanks for your typical answer, but it did not answer the question I was asking. I know they are short on funds and fully expect a fund raise in the near future as we could be waiting a long time for a JV to materialise (they can easily take 8 months or more especially considering the amount of money involved) and I would hate to not do anything this summer. The question was can we not use the same vertical part of this well to go deeper and put in another horizontal that may work this time. We could also do the SMD whilst we have the kit on site.

Can anyone tell me if there is a reason why the current well cannot be used for another horizontal but deeper and in a different direction. Got to be cheaper than doing a whole new one. If it works the current horizontal could be reopened and co-mingled. You could also test the SMD at the same time. I am sure an oiler will put me straight but I would be interested in why it cannot be done. In anticipation many thanks.

It's been almost a month since the last bit of news, I would expect an RNS before months end updating us on the current drilling campaign.

The last couple of Webinars came across as a bit desperate, so I am hoping for something a bit more upbeat. If we go around the houses, repeating the same old info then the SP will probably go down again. Needs some new interesting facts to get everybody going again. Webinars can only save you from **** ups a few times before they become the norm and uninteresting.

Non executive directors provide advice and is not a full time job, 59 is not exactly old, I know of people in these positions who are well into their 70's.

Palmer the senile old fool has found out that the reality of cutting oil in the US means you have to buy from abroad at much greater cost. He has been begging countries to supply them with oil and he has used up much of the US oil reserves which are supposed to be there in case of war. There will be no problem getting at the oil if they can raise the money or partner to get at it. I suspect the JV partner is changing the agreement as they are seeing the company struggling. I would rather Art just got on with it and raised some money as it would show the JV partner that if need be we will start it ourselves.
