The more this goes on I would welcome an aggressive takeover approach even just to ram home how much this company should be valued at. I am glad the week is over, it is too volatile to keep looking at the screen each day but I have to keep one eye on it as I am in via leverage and could end up with a margin call at some stage before it really gains traction later in the year. Can't understand TUI being as stable as it is with all those extra shares hitting. Crazy week.
Should be included from 8am today, sorry for talking TUI on this thread. The usual RI shorters will turn up and hope for a bit of bad C-19 news over the weekend and trade it down to £3 probably (or not and it defies gravity and goes the other way while SAGA creeps lower) Don't trade the noise, trade the news ;)
Yet another cruise ship TV show on CH5, all good getting people "hungry for more cruising". All good exposure.
You need to top up with a nice big leveraged position just to add a bit of excitement to proceedings
:o)
In recovery mode at this end, a bad 12 months here, in fact could not have done any worse with a blindfold and pin, ASOS in at £11 but sold too quickly, NSF disaster, IAG disaster, Megget sold too early, in here now full on recovery mode only holding via 3x leverage SB on IG in at circa £2.40 so am insulated down to £1.60 before disaster but looking for £4 to make everything fine again. £5 would be bonus all round :)
C'rixton, if you think you have missed the boat and want to play catch up just buy via IG with 2 or 3 times leverage and just have a bit of money on the side for an unexpected margin call. (Great film by the way).
It is like a double edged sword, if I wanted to take it private I would not want the mkt cap racing ahead so would try to subdue the good news train and just stick to facts. On the other hand it will make its own mind up as to what is considered the correct value and as time goes on this will increase so I just hope that the sp is not artificially depressed from any of this.
Do 5000 shares move the price that much, wow.
SWIMBO has just kicked her latest cruise booking along the road by a year, was due to go in June, same ship, same room, extra £100 onboard allowance and £50 reduction in price and balance not to be paid until March 2022.
Just sayin'
Also that we have had probably nearer 10 million cases in the UK now and at 60k new confirmed each day (which will be nearer 100k) in a month or so we will be nearer a 1/4 of the population will have had the disease and could have some sort of immunity. The death rates will reduce as the potential candidates for this statistic will have been pinned and the death rate will drop away hopefully quite rapidly bay March time. Transmission will continue but death rates will be a whole lot better before Easter. If they are not, "we have a problem" ......
Wish I had opened mine at that :o(
When you look at the trades going through it shows that very little money really seems to move the price easily at the moment, mm's must not have such a big slush of shares and they are tightly held resulting in price movement required to facilitate trade requests.
IOM TT cancelled in June and any big events that require a large outlay or large amounts of organisation will rather confirm they are off instead of run a 50/50 change (or less)as it is not fair on participants some of which have limited funds. The HAL related businesses will have effectively had 3 winters back to back, absolute nightmare for them.
Merger chat over on the "other side", nothing happening, just to be aware of ...
