With Biden taking office this week and announcing a Science Team which will be brought up to Cabinet-level and $1.9tn being the figure quoted which will supposedly help in the fight against the pandemic, I wonder if US news will either coincide with the inauguration or follow very shortly afterwards. He'll be very busy with settling in I'm sure, but what better way to kick off his term than announcing new news with treatments is my thinking. He'll have all the right people around him to do so.
This SP has performed incredibly today and it seems to be holding very well going into the late afternoon. A strong and steady incline from this morning and a blue finish on the cards - anticipation of imminent news perhaps?
Purely speculation of course.
In my opinion I actually doubt Activ-2 is priced in at the moment. This SP has been steady for a while and got to where it is on FDA news and the study that followed. The Activ-2 is still speculation and yes there've been a few big buys gone in since then I don't think it's reacted anywhere near the way it will once it's announced.
The Flu jab is on target every year yet hospitalisations for Influenza and it's associated exacerbations still occur. With SARS-CoV-2 being more infectious and more deadly than the Flu then you need to be asking yourself whether a single roll-out of the SARS-CoV-2 jabs is a reason to be worried.
With all due respect MikeyBigBucks, if we're not able to discuss valuations or have a bit of fun predicting them with educated guesses then why are any of us here.
I'd much prefer threads like these discussing future targets and endpoints than some of the other drivel regularly posted on here.
Golf, that's a brilliant question and a question not asked enough on here in my opinion.
£10 would be a decent point to reach and I'm sure a good exit point to many on here. But to be honest I'd be hugely disappointed if it got to £10 and I thought that was the end of the road and PIs settled for it. If it can get to £10 on preliminary results and a revenue stream then I'd want to see how much further it can go. I'll be pushing for higher than £10 which without Covid was something that may have been achievable with COPD long term, but with Covid and the looming prospect of a treatment for all respiratory viruses I feel like I'd be robbing myself if I got out at anywhere under £15-20. If big pharma let us get there that is.
What a week it's been everyone, well done to all the holders. P3 underway, the US mentioning inhaled interferon with an Activ-2 announcement likely imminent (the actual kind of imminent), and Sky News yesterday with SSH's best interview to date.
Anybody else have a good feeling about next week too? Happy Friday!
Agreed Tonlin, makes me appreciate the delays that have been happening as the things we're achieving behind the scenes is remarkable. I'm sure the States if noone else have realised what we're sitting on here. I'm proud we've made it as far as we have with them. Now for that RNS!
CR - good post but Activ-2 will be underway in around two weeks according to the Stateside doctor this morning, unless I'm mistaken. I think the days of dips are over with what happens after that, particularly if orders start coming in and patients start being dosed over there too.
GGGT - completely agree with you on that one. 'Respiratory viruses' from the doctor in the Activ-2 video this morning springs to mind. In my opinion we'll start seeing the true potential of this in the coming weeks never mind months.
