Tiburn - beautifully constructed post. Thanks for bringing up the 10% of shares traded on the RNS day again. The other 90% genuine long term holders are hanging on to because they know how AIM casino works, MMS games etc.

Can I also add that if the major had walked away the following line from the RNS wouldn't be:

"The company with which we have been in exclusive negotiations has elected not to extend further the period of exclusivity, which means we will receive no further exclusivity payments." THIS IS FROM THE RNS.

It would instead be along the lines of "The company with which we have been in exclusive negotiations has elected not to extend further the period of exclusivity, which brings negotiations to an end" DISCLAIMER: This is not from the RNS it's made up.

Just to clarify the according to Borum part is just the unoffocial talks bit. He thinks the major walked.

Hi Spike just wondering how your trading went today? Did you see TOOP today with the 3 bagger? I did a test buy and was offered 0.77p but thought it was possibly at the top and too risky so I left it.

Edgar - one theory is that, according to Bonum, the other parties could have already been in "unofficial talks" hence the wording "recommenced", so the major ends exclusivity to make talks official. Bringing more parties to the table with the major possibly the more powerful and controlling partner - so a joint venture.

Jimtheknow - I think you're right with the 'nature'. As I said a few days ago the Devil is in the detail with this RNS.

I like your view that unofficial talks may have continued and add to that perhaps, if the major was still involved, they had opted not to extend the exclusivity to make these unofficial talks official i.e. consortium. But we can agree to disagree on if major walked or not.

Bonum there was no opportunity to live sell at 2p today and I test bought and test sold all day. But my £12.8k worth is spread over 2 brokers so can only test sell maximum £7k worth. Most I got offered was 1.90p for final 15 minutes or so of open. Not sure about the £59k yesterday but selling that amount at 2p. I doubt someone would get that high of a price for that quantity? Who knows but the market makers though hey? There's a theory going around here that a TR-1 will come out as the same person/company is buying these and will hit over 3% threshold for reporting. IMHO

'Broader' and 'recommenced' are the keywords in the RNS. I.e. broader than but including the major i.e.still in negotiations with major but need 3rd party for consortium to spread risk. And recommenced i.e. not starting from beginning but having a catch up. IMHO "Bahamas Petroleum in conjunction with its adviser Macquarie Bank, has therefore recommenced broader, asset-based discussions with third parties in addition to those non-asset based financing discussions already ongoing for the funding of its first exploration well. To-date the Company has received US$1 million in exclusivity payments. No further amounts will be due or payable given the exclusivity will not be extended."

Bonum my personal view is that the major is still negotiating with BPC and I interpret the RNS to mean opened up to 3rd party as in a consortium. Afterall RNS only says exclusivity won't be extended. Nothing about walking. Market commentators etc have helped to fuel that one. There is another theory that a potential hostile takeover may occur and that's the reason for share accumulation. All just opinion based on vague RNS.

Bonum - I think the £59k buy yesterday paid 2p because it was so large a premium of 2p had to be paid, it was delayed printed because it had to be worked through, hence MMs tree shaking nervous sellers and stops. I don't think it's forward selling a placement or whatever. Anyone else?

Jimtheknow - I really enjoyed your post. The issue on this board now is the long term holders who have sold bit stick around and want the share to fall and go bust just to confirm their decision is correct. I lost money on Foot Asylum recently but don't hang around that board trying to put off new investors and prolonging my misery.

Cyborg - why am I getting on your nerves mate? Why don't you like me? I am the backbone of this board since I banished Spike et al. Got rid of the riffraff and now it's the good guys...all friendly and reasonable convo here. None of that talk of 1p

I sold about half of my AST holding at 1.15p a week or so ago the day before it hit 1.20+ but next few days it was 1.10, 1, 0.90 etc so glad I did. Should have got rid of the lot in hindsight and bought back in now.

Yes better to take profits than to give back to the market. Better to have sell targets so fear and greed don't take over.

Will sometime please go through all of the buys and sells and total up the accurate figures? Post them on here when you've got the calculations. Kapkina you like your maths and probabilities don't you? Do you mind spending half hour doing it for us?
