DC2007 I think you might bbe spreading a few false rumours on here and advfn forum - maybe you've been mislead by newspapers today. But the £200million has actually secured the company for the foreseeable future and this won't be going in prepack administration despite what some are thinking. Anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...but I think the company will carry on fine and the share price will rise regardless of a bid or not unless I'm reading this completely wrong?

DC2007 are you referring to my £31k I have in this? How do you know how much money I have in total and if I can afford to lose it or not. Isn't what we put in to stocks relative. Your £100 might be my £10000 etc or vice versa. I don't know your situation, you don't know mine. I might have made £30k from 10 hours work from flipping a property. You might have spaved for 20 years to save it up by living on bread and water. Or vice versa. Etc etc.

TheGreatMaze - what do you mean "does it matter if someone else bids higher"? Don't you thimk rival bidders will have extra cash to inject for a restructure too? It's not like Mike comes with a 2p bid but lots of future capital but "rival bidder A" comes with a 10p counte offer but they spent all their cash so can't restructure lol. Which do you think shareholders will approve. Anyway the BoD has to recommend a deal to shareholders unless it's reverse takeover on which case they obviously have no say in the matter due to the very nature of it.

We don't even know who increased yesterday either. TR1s coming surely. Plus the bid situation decreases reporting threshold to 1% from 3%....so extra vigilant disclosure is necessary.

For me, I can't see how share price can be held down below 4 or 5p on Monday. There was even that false drop to 2.6 / 2.6p nearing close of play yesterday. So preditable. Gap up on Monday morning either way.

I think there's a number of possible outcomes here...most good for the shareholder. Some not so good. Everyone has had their chance to get in cheap or average down, it's now a matter of take a profit (or loss) 3 feet from gold (or bust) or wait for the big prize (or bust). It's time for MA to shite or get off the pot!

I reckon MA at point of no return with 30% stake. Might as well chuck in another 70% anyway. In for a penny lol.... Too much work to wait for administation to mop up with goodies without the debt. I think he'll want a nice clean 10p to 20p bid to drown out any rival bidders and send them running to the hills. Question is - how many rival bidders and preparing their own bids as we speak? Who else is buying this pontentially huge high street leader?

Don't forget guys that in yesterday's trading buys outnumbered sells at a ratio of 2 to 1. Expect TR1 and poaaibly MA increasing over 30% early next week.
