I topped up a few tranches earlier totalling £6k. Looks to me like it's being held down for background buying possibly MA himself or IIs. Shouldnt be much more stock at these levels given what's to play for. Expecting a big afternoon bounce.

SOS_SHARES I haven't given you any advice, I am not regulated to do so. I am not an IFA. I simply asked why you didn't close your short sub 2p when you yourself said downside risk is 30p if there's a bid at that price and just 2p or less potential upside. I was just asking how you justify this?
Remember the shorters were sayong on Thursday and Friday that the shares would be suspended any minute but then that refinancing RNS came out..the shorters will try anything to get you to sell. Lots of tricks and dishonestly.

"Ashley is on the brink of seeing a 29pc stake in Debenhams wiped out as the troubled department store chain nears a rescue deal with lenders that will obliterate existing shareholders."
That's just typical bad reporting, one-sided, infurring one of the possible outcomes is the only outcome. Obvious agenda behind this is to help shorter friends. Corruption to say the least.

If your short position is from 56p then surely it makes sense to close it when price was sub 2p..why risk losing to 30p bid to just possible upward of another 2p?

I've seen some roght lies and crap told by dishonest / incompetant journalists over the years. Like last year when one newspaper said UKOG were a fracking company. They don't even do fracking. UKOG contacted the newspaper prompty snd the newspaper printed a ln hardly noticeable retraction online in a section so small you wouldn't even think to look in. Absolute scumbags.
