Spin Memory22 May 2020 09:31
From my very basic knowledge of chip dynamics, the main problem facing chip designers across the world is ever increasing amounts of data to be processed and them having to be done faster. Current chips use a lot of power(relatively) and generate a lot of heat. To mine a bit coin it now takes a considerable amount of electrical energy $1000’s . One of the bottle necks in chip design is memory and that’s where spin memory is the new disruptor, it is so much quicker and uses so much less power and produces such a lot less heat, and more stable in that heat, that it’s a game changer. Once adopted virtually every competitive chip manufacturer will have to incorporate Spins memory or go the way of the dinosaur. Check out how many chips manufactured and multiply this by a few cents, the licensing agreement, and you have a pretty large sum, year in year out. Politically Cold War is coming between China and USA Trump has to keep a technological advantage and so Spin is a crown jewel that cannot be allowed to fall into the hands of any other sphere of influence, any bid for spin memory by outside agencies will have to be counter bid up by USA based companies, at the behest of Washington. I know it sounds a bit Grassy Knollington, but that’s my take. Check out data on Spin to confirm or re educate me. Good luck holders.
