Awful lot of speculation on the price, there’s a little matter of if an offer appears, and as for the price, Newcrest have a fiduciary obligation to their shareholders to pay as little as possible, as the share price stands they would be very imprudent to offer more than 16 to 18p. They could sweeten the pill a little by just buying out Havieron, and leave the rest to Ggp, then we would be at the mercy of Bod to let us have the money, or squander it all on getting lucky a second time.

The wild changes in ownership prelude an attack on the BOD, a lot of people have learned the hard way BOD are just hanging out the inevitable IPO/ private cap buyout to maintain their obscene salaries for another year or two. the BOD know that with their record of capital destruction the only hope for them is CEO of a Major Bank, or Tesla, now there’s a share overdue some capital destruction. Investors Chronic Call once again relying of the truth of disgraced BOD, two suites have reconsidered their positions and there must be one or two investments that will fail in this environment. Potential to make possible 20% in a open ended time frame but Real possibility of holding loans that will never perform. Will probably make a few % but the risk reward probably favours risk. Been here since early 40s it’s never too late to buy some shares, and at the moment this is one. Diversification is you r only guarantee and I have that in Gpm and Franco Nevada, also If you want spice then GPss subscription shares in Gpm are my crack cocaine. As with any single share you are at the mercy of the Bod, that’s why I have several small goldies and the back up of professional in Gpm and Franco. Anyway don’t think you’ll go far wrong with this.

Think we all get the message you think or hope it’s going to 16p, could happen, could go to zero or £10 the one thing for certain is it WILL not be predicted by a pile of coloured lines overlaying a share price. Chartism was a movement started in the mid 19 Century and should have stayed there, like the black art of economics if you muddy the waters enough anything can be made to appear. What chartism will actually do is trawl through data AFTER it has happened and then explain why that thing happened, your chance of being right is exactly 50% and likewise your chance of being wrong. I favour trends and at the moment the trend for gold is rising, I can also possibly see the demand for copper rising provided the world economy can get over the global destruction wrecked by corona virus, if it doesn’t then so much the better for gold. So Solg ticks both boxes Recovery win, Global Depression win. What do your charts say?

Nailed my colours to mast, gold over $12000 oz by 2025, and will reconsider my Solg holding if FN doesn’t stump up the cash. As for the state of the world, it’s looking pretty grim from where I’m standing, house divided and all that. So impressed with Franco Nevada have put my money where my admittedly large mouth is and just bought into FN. must admit new nothing of FN before it’s mention in connection with Solg, but the more I learn the more I’m impressed with NM. Onward diverse Solgiers marching as to war.

Basically at regular intervals, overdue at moment, gold tends to the price of the Dow. At the moment the Dow is 26000ish so if gold ratio was 1 then gold would be $26000 oz, of course that’s not happening not without hyper inflation, but if Dow falls to say 12000, the corresponding uncertainty pulls gold up then you can see $12000 is not so ridiculous. Personally I think probably more like$18000 oz. that’s my estimate for 2025 1st jan. any other suggestions.

Just came off a video of Franco Nevada’s ceo Pierre lassonde assessing future for gold and the pod to Dow theory. Was very impressed with his compelling narrative of how world events will conspire to get gold to between $12000 and $18000 over next couple of years. I would be happy if he endorses the royalty loan after due diligence, this will effectively say to the mining world here’s a half hidden gem what’s it worth. If the money isn’t forthcoming, now that’s another story.

Having been through several takeovers throughout my investing times, I have always felt cheated if the price offered were less than 40% above pre offer price. If I held cornerstone, Solg would have to double the premium to about 14:1 and to get me to vote yes about 16:1. Just playing devils advocate, would love us to get them for such a low ball offer.

To call it an offer is laughable, how do you think this board would react to an offer, say from Newcrest, at 24p, 20% above current price, and in shares at that, the premium could easily be wiped out between accepting and being allocated the shares. No the reason for the bid was to stir the bowl and see what rises, be it a counter offer by a multinational for cornerstone signalling an intention to take out Solg later, or just to see how the market reacts to news. Well the market hasn’t reacted and I think the multis with time on their side and a bigger kitty can play a better game of poker than NM. Name of game is getting the price as low as possible so when the offer comes 25p won’t seem ridiculous. Share price is being managed lower and our only real hope, other than an early offer, is for a few hedge funds to see the medium term profit, shame Crystal Amber is tied up with bigger potential gains in Allied Minds.

Pretty irrelevant if you are not planning to sell or buy, it seems market makers move bid offer spread etc on a whim, some say level 2 orders but on a share like Alm and normally on aim this is just something to do whilst awaiting news. The only real figure that matters is the ask as it seems all platforms operate on a function and spread off this. I know a lot will disagree but experts are paid to muddy the waters. Still think this could multi bag from here, hopefully in not too distant future

Either 0 or 10 for me no in between, obviously will top slice at0.5, 1, 2,4 and 7.5 but real chance These could be worthless. Business model seems compelling to me but I’m not holding inventory. Anyway time will tell GLA.

Would prefer manager to concentrate on investing effectively and raising the share price to 25 p. The spread has stayed at the same % so not much change there. Good company but one wonders when the board will decide to redecorate the office and religion the car park, now that would be the time to eject.

Awaiting news can be a bit Groundhog Day anyone looking for interest pop over to Gpm and their on steroid subs gpss. No recommendation but could brighten up a dull day.
