Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Decent set but look like they will struggle to meet last years cash generation which will impact the special dividend next Feb. Sold out at 230 , but think this will head back to 185-200 over the next couple of months as the market adjusts to the new expectation. GLA Scotinvest
Interesting reviews on the results but for me the issue with the likes of TXP is the difficulty they have in generating profit net - not excluding most costs. I have been involved with TXP for 2 years and last year they had a massive benefit from oil prices and the net profit is £350k on £35m sales! It is nowhere near good enough and clearly if oil settles in a $50-80 range , on average we will not see any significant net back improvement. The volume improvement was average given the significant capex over the last 2 years and they are about to spend another $20m I don’t see this as particularly cheap , but would look at it again around 7-9p balancing the execution risk with the lacklustre operational performance . Looks fantastic news and looks like adds significant value upside to HUR for 2019 on top of what we would have seen from Lancaster development - expect this to be the start of the next leg up to get back to the 70p range before the final assault on the £1 target ( which probably now upped to 140p). Congrats to the management team on a job well done . GLA Scotinvest
CEO very positive and looking at £100m mkt cap in due course. News due in Q3 re results and new drilling. Very positive on Zimbabwe opportunities . Easy to extract resources so relativity profitable if commodity prices hold up / increase GLA Scotinvest
We have seen a 25% increase in sp in a flat market since the post results fall in April which is welcome and come from reasonable buying volumes rather than “news”. We are now at the top end of the range and coming up to the interim results so let’s hope for some good news and signs that the special Div will reappear. GLA Scotinvest
Maybe they have deferred it again !
Good solid set of results with some add ins like the US corporate tax rate change adding 5% to the bottom line with guidance at c45c for the year and more to come in H2 , looks like time for a 900p+ sp. GLA Scotinvest
Anybody seen anything about this ? No mention in RNS - was mentioned last 2 years in RNS. Thanks Scotinvest
Disappointed with current sp move , but you can’t win them all when buying in . Hope the results prove the sellers wrong - I believe this is a strong growth coy with great margin opportunity and hope to see the 5 year sp growth trend continue into 2019. GLA Scotinvest
Disappointed with another year before we might see profitability - good to see increasing revenues but it looks like the financial discipline wasn’t in place and now we are looking for a cfo , bit of an oversight Mr Scott. Hopefully 2018 will see further revenue acceleration and translation into underlying profitability and maybe a share price above 3p and closer to the 5p it should be. GLA in 2018
This is not value accretive for me as a shareholder. The benefits are all being given to the placees. There should be an open offer portion with warrants to enable existing holders to buy on the same terms as the placees and that extra cash might enable the 3D and 5 wells
Disappointing that AK can’t issue an RNS to explain what is happening . I can see no reason for not announcing the placing price and bookbuild result for the 220m as the 30m was in addition at the placing price. Guess Christmas isn’t coming to SAVP shareholders in 2017 if we are waiting for the latecomers. Let’s hope they are contractually tied in for 1 year minimum, otherwise this looks more like a flipping exercise at our expense. GLA & a good festive season
Surprised to see the sp fall back to 16p level and a mkt cap of £80m when the 7,600 bopd equates to £60m netback p.a. The production is scheduled to increase to 10,000 and the big exploration is still to start ( the Afren acreage) So why are we not at 25-30? Answers on a postcard please🙃
Joined the party at UDG couple of days ago during the sharp increase , but have been tracking the stock for a year - they keep delivering and this stock will move up past £10 on the next major move up .not expecting fireworks but they will deliver as they have been doing over the last couple of years. Acquisition anybody? GLA Scotinvest
Good RNS today and news on wells should be soon . This is speculative , but loads of upside for a very small cap . GLA looking forward to this ride! Scotinvest
Business building nicely with excellent revenue & margin growth. Cost proportions still too high but hopefully in 6-12 m time they will fall and the profit will flow thru to the shareholders. Sp first thing - no reaction - so this might not be the turning point to 50p , but will wait for that moment . GLA Scotinvest
So no real movement but all the news that has come out is positive, but can't help thinking that a step change in the results will be the big driver..... so hopefully c21/9 will be the start of the next step up. ATB Spotted, Rocka & Monica!
Just joined this stock last week ( along with a few others it seems!) and like the balance of production assets and near term newsflow . £7m Mkt cap does not take much to push this over 10p and still be potentially undervalued. GLA Scotinvest
I look forward to your day of profit - 50p would make it a pretty reasonable return over 3-4 years! GLA
Londoner7 , very useful post and appreciate all the quality posts from the handful of regular contributors. Looks like this should add a few more % to earnings in the medium term over and above the operating efficiencies that BREE are so expert at. I still think our future sp growth will primarily be driven by acquisitions and on that wondered if anyone had looked at appropriate listed / unlisted targets? All looking good for my target of 100p this year. GLA and keep up the great posting. Cheers SI
