It's good to see the last of Mussies directors leaving the company in the shape of Graham Heard - like the rest of them, been on a gravy train for the last 12 years!!!!

I have now had a long honest detailed e-mail from Keith Bush which explains in more detail the company plans for the future. He did say that maybe the long term ambition to grow further didn't come out in their communications that clearly, but it was important in delivering on their short term golds. To some extent I agree with setting out clear short time goals, however if you want to attract serious investors you also need to clearly set out your medium to long time goals so serious investors can see a clear and precise company plan of action before committing their money. One point I would like to pick up on is that there has been a lot of ref to what Jon Murphy the Chairman has done in the past with Venture Production - how the company grew over a 10 year period before being sold off to Centrica for 1.3 billion. Investors would love to think the same will happen with Northern!!!, but be aware different companies, different times, different sets of circumstances does not mean that history will repeat its self!!!!! Without going into Keiths e-mail in too much detail he said real growth starts now, which means for all us old time investors the last 12 years has been a waist of time. Keith did say if you look a similar oil companies in their development then Northern is on bar. So to all those past shower of directors, I hope you are hanging in the Tower of London!!!!!! For all you fellow investors out there now have a good week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No have not had a reply from Keith Bush - probably did not dig what I had to say!! - will keep you informed when it happens. I did ask him and his fellow directors to log onto this web site at their next Board meeting to read some of the concerned comments being made by private investors - by doing that, they may understand where we are coming from!!

Being a long player I agree with some of what has been said as I appreciate we all have our own opinions, however the post of Public Relations Officer must go to me!!!! - I have done the tact and diplomacy course and know how to rock me baby - only the old timers will know who sang that!!!

If NP think by producing 500 barrels per day by the end of the year is going to improve the share price, then they should think again!!!! A couple of years ago it was 1800 barrels per day. When Keith Bush sits down with his fellow directors at a Board meeting he should be saying to them that 500 is not good enough if we want the SP to move upwards. Just think about it - we appreciate the effort so far, but the numbers in real terms are Mickey Mouse!!!!!!

Keith Bush sounded a lot more confident on the prospects for the first six wells in Canada in his interview - must have recovered from his stressful interview with Marty. Never mind it sounded optimistic!!

I cannot make by mind up whether it is Marty or Martin, but he should get a job in public relations because he comes across well doesn't he!!!!!!!!

Ref presentation 13th May. It is being held at the Chamberlains Restaurant, 23-25 Leadenhall Market, London, EC3V 1LR - from 5.00pm - 7.00pm - invites only. I received my invite direct from NOP and I assume the presentation is part of the new managements new strategy of keeping all investors and interested parties informed of important promotional company news. I would expect there will be corporate and private investors there along with other invited guests to give the company maximum exposure.

I think the RNS will come out at the same time NOP do their corporate presentation next Tues 13th May. I expect Keith Bush to use the positive Canada update as his punch line when giving his summary at the end of his presentation to the delight of the corporate members and other investors present - then watch the share price!!!! One of the major shareholders of Wessex is asking all shareholders to vote in a motion to remove the whole board of directors of Wessex because they are doing such a good job in destroying the company - in other words they think they are a bunch of Turkeys!!!
