@adamsk
The Proactive website states a 6pm start this evening. As far as I can tell, KEFI are on first so imagine they'll start between 6 and 615?
KEFI are giving a 10 minute presentation and answering 20 minutes of questions this evening at the Interactive Investor One2One meeting event in London.
Couldn't see a link to attend online so was hoping someone who lived in the area was going to be able to attend and share any interesting information if it comes up. It's free to attend.
Also, quite funny... According to the proactive investor website, on the event registration page it says: 'Our format is simple. The directors from a maximum of four companies present to an audience of up to 120 attendees.'
Then it lists 5 companies. Not such a simple format after all then! Lol
Is there going to be an online link to the proactive event this evening?
@Mafs, stop being so rampy please. HAA gave an Amber light at best. The thing about Amber lights is they can either go Red or Green.
Very much hoping for Green, but still...
Also this is far from a once in a lifetime opportunity... This is just a good opportunity for a very high risk / high reward play. Be realistic.
GGP was a once in a generation opportunity...
@picku
I share your cynicism.
My reply to the troll was in response to the fact that he claims that its stupid to believe that the 30th June is the deadline date for the umbrella agreement because HAA is a serial liar.
Whereas I think it's stupid to think that HAA is the only person with a say in when the deadline date is... If so, why would he shorten in?! Laughable.
The troll is therefore basically saying with his comment that he thinks we have longer to sign the umbrella agreement than just the 30th June... Yet also talks about the fact deadline day is approaching constantly.
I can't decide if it's funny or sad. Though I do know it's pathetic.
I am trusting the Ethiopian government and the information given regarding deadline date in several of the most recent RNSs.
Are you really saying that everyone involved is repeatedly lying in heavily controlled legal news releases??
That's not correct - The umbrella agreement has to be signed by Thursday 30th June. Tomorrow is only Wednesday.
@****head1
(1) you still haven't given any evidence for your baseless claims.
(2) I don't expect any magic from anywhere. I am rather pessimistic about the management of this company, and am uncertain as to whether the umbrella agreement will get signed, though I believe it probably will.
(3) if the evidence is everywhere, why don't you share it?
(4) an RNS isn't magic. It's 2022. We've had the Internet for a while now. It's not that impressive anymore.
(5) how much did you pay your imaginary professionals to magic unreleased information out of thin air?
(6) if you're so desperate to convince everyone of imminent failure, why don't you share your secret information?
(7) where is the evidence for your claims?
(8) Hvor er bevisene dine?
(9) ?? ???? ???????
(10) ????? ?? ???
@crackpot10
A brief glance at the link you posted tells me that:
(1) the Ethiopian govt. didn't go to court against the company in question - they were taken to court by the company in question after being sued, and it's obviously a legal requirement to respond or there would be no justice systems in the world.
(2) they were at least a little scared, as they were desperate to 'achieve financial diplomacy' with the company, which sounds very much to me like basically settling the case out of court for an undisclosed sum.
(3) there was a third point but I'm really tired and have forgotten it.
Bloody hell, Bhargav. If you're not going then who is? That'll be an embarrassing turnout.
@P79u
I know HAA has been absolutely awful at dragging this along and leaving everything to the last second but you're totally right in what you say about the message it sends, especially after the Ethiopian MoM reduced the deadline by a week when so close to the original deadline. That's bound to cause disruption and confusion regardless of management team or readiness.
It reminds me of that scene in The Simpson where Homer owes the mafia money and Fat Tony says: "You have 24 hours to give us the money... And to show you we're serious... You have 12 hours..."
@c0ckheady,
What evidence do you have that KEFI have nothing in SA? Last I checked they had Jibal Qutman and Hawiah.
What evidence do you have that the Saudi connection is `dead in the water`? Also rather suspicious that you say: "you'll learn that soon"... Sounds to me like you're trying to say that you have inside information and then you're going online and sharing that information! That's illegal. Consider yourself reported to the authorities.
Encouraging wording in today's RNS.
Does seem to be a situation where he wanted to get the 'bad' news out of the way yesterday before sharing this good news, as some suggested yesterday.
@bhargav / anyone knowledgeable, do you know of there is any way I can attend tonight's event remotely? I've read the RNS and couldn't find a registration link for an online presentation - only an email address to confirm I'd be there in person, but as I have a job and live 300 miles away, it'll be difficult to make it tonight...
Chill out mafs, there are some reckless rerampers on this board who I try to call out for not looking at things fairly when I can, but you're being just as irrational with your post here.
There is an extreme level of risk associated with the next few days and it's ridiculous to pretend there isn't.
Don't tell people to buy buy buy like the derampers shouldn't tell people to sell sell sell. Let's just let people make their own minds up before or after the 30th.
Only a fool would think that sarcasm is identifiable over the Internet... Sarcasm requires particular intonation.
If that's true then I didn't know about that and will concede that point.
But that does sound... Illegal... To say the least? Confirming you have money for operational expenses when you don't...
@manu7
If you knew what you were talking about you'd know that ANS haven't been involved in this company for years!
Absolute fool.
Damn, man, you have some deep-seated anger issues and I'd recommend reflecting on your life.
Also find it funny about how you're saying your past predictions have come true and then listed things that haven't even happened yet. You should look at some of the words you used in your unhinged rant and see which ones apply to you.
I can spot several!
You could say the same about Facebook, PayPal etc.
Sure, HAA and the rest of KEFI management haven't exactly played this well - but you may or may not have noticed that the entire, wider market has been having a bit of a bad time recently...?
