Up 36%...?
Did I miss something???
@veleno, lend me a fiver mate?
Interesting stuff but China know business and they know leverage, and they know they're practically the only realistic player in the market for Russian assets like this and can therefore command an excellent deal (for themselves, and less so for us shareholders).
EUA was my biggest investment by a considerable margin.
I'm down just over 75%...
Why the hell would I sell now? Say the worst happens and it goes to 0, for whatever reason (which won't happen). I can afford to lose a few grand more. But I am not crystallising a huge loss just because I'm scared of losing a little bit more.. Madness.
@tim
He's both, in my view.
And a bunch of other things
Shut up you turd.
@mafs, by the way, do you have a link to the telegram group?
I personally think KEFI are going to keep a fast pace of news releases to us shareholders now - faster than they normally would even with this news.
Think that this to-the-wire, race against time, high stress eventual victory has probably given them a new perspective on needing to keep ALL parties involved in all steps along the way
Fair value of around 1.5p sounds good to me! Would be finally back in profit, at around 15% up.
Congrats the the KEFI team and to everyone here! Don't smoke but might go out and buy a cigar later, just for the novelty...
@Topman
No joke - if you find one, please link it here! I'd definitely get one.
Probably having angry conversations with their 'inside sources' as to why the information they gave them made them look like total tw@s all week!
@p79u
Edit: my mistake - only just seen you said 'positive result' - I haven't had my coffee yet.
But I imagine they'll still stick around being a$$holes regardless...
I can't remember - is the requirement that any price sensitive information MUST be sent out via RNS before being announced anywhere else (e.g. Investor event or AGM), or are you allowed to give price sensitive information before it's released via RNS (e.g. at an AGM) AS LONG AS you post an RNS with that same information before the market opens for trading the next day?
I think it's the former but would like confirmation.
@p79u
LOL. This is the lse boards website. If anything they'll be back in greater numbers and with greater regularity making fun of PIs who have lost money or spamming single words like 'lambsville', because that's apparently the response some people have to others that are in undesirable situations...
@Simms, i wasn't happy to hear it...
The tweet said 'due to unforeseen circumstances'. HAA had been harping on recently about how he expects everything to be sorted on time, and that he was planning on being able to make the Proactive event.
Optics are poor but you never know, it could just be that the MoM decided last minute that they wanted him to deliver the agreement to them in person, or something like that. Doubtful, but one can hope... Optics are poor regardless.
At least KSA will come good eventually so all is not lost if you have a medium-long term outlook, which I do.
You ever heard of irony, Womo?...
@'rubbish shares like GGP'
Jesus Christ, beanfield. Just because you got spiked doesn't mean this is a rubbish share. It just means either you're a rubbish investor or you just got in at the wrong time.
Havieron looks to be a once in a generation deposit. Having a junior make that find is unreal, not rubbish.
You don't know what you're talking about and you don't have the risk tolerance / patience for mining shares so I suggest you sell up, shut up or both.
@cracker
Could we get some SILENCE of the Lambs, please?
If you google my username you might discover that Hannibal was an enemy of mine.
Agreed, tintin. I was actually considering investing generally in Ethiopia as an emerging market a year or two ago. But if it turns out that they've played a role in sabotaging such an important economic development opportunity in a hugely focal point industry in that process then they really don't deserve serious foreign investment (not saying that's me, but in general). And if that is the case I definitely wouldn't invest in this government, so at least not until 2026 when the next election is.
Well...
That's not a good sign...
He always did seem tired and bored in his interviews, and as if he couldn't be bothered to answer questions that he didn't want to. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't manage to sort out the umbrella agreement and just didn't have the energy to deal with the questions / put on a show this evening so he said f**k this, I'm not going to.
But then again, this is AIM - wouldn't be too surprised if this was one last manipulative trick to shake the share price down tomorrow for Ethiopian / institutional investors to get on board cheap and then announce signing of umbrella tomorrow before the AGM.
But yh... Initial optics are poor...
