No it doesn't, it is going to be peanuts for investors and significant for the company. The moment a company distributes funds, valuation drops by equal amount. Obviously, growth can offset that but it still means it has a negative impact on the pps but more importantly it removes funds from the company. Like you said co may do acquisitions if they find an opportunity, now they will have less funds to do that and to scale rapidly if necessary (as they said many times they can quickly invest money to expand facilities if needed). All that so that you can buy someone a pint at your local pub.
If it was a mature company without much of a growth prospect but that generates a lot money from their established business then it would be a different story. But it's not the case. This is ridiculous and it makes me have doubts wherther I should continue to be invested here. You wanted small time well there you go, you got it.
