I'm a little out of the loop regarding the new deals going on. Can you let me know what the significance of oct 17th is ? Is that when the tambo origin deal completes ?
While we wait and see how does the work on the ground progress ? Does anyone know ? weren't there some wells to be drilled and tested it's oct 1st tomorrow?
Again I ask mojomusketeer what drew you to join us on the board ? Are you a long time holder who has grown weary ? Are you some sort of activist ? Most of us here are long term holders that believe in the resource but you seem to be the opposite so I'm curious as to why you would spend time here? What's the angle ? While I always appreciate different points of view I'm curious as to the motive ?
Do we have any action from our satellite wizards ?
now now fellows I appreciate as many angles to everything as possible. Welcome to the board Mojomusketeer . I am curious though as to what drew you to the board ? Are you a shareholder or just curious ? Asking with good intentions not to be snarky :-)
I was hoping for a response like this as I am very unfamiliar with Australian politics. Let's hope for a productive fall to further prove the need for this transitional energy source.
Yikes! Article is from the guardian so it's pretty one sided but makes me nervous.
I think our drilling companies have changed where the goal posts are for commerciality of the flow rates but the market hasn't agreed maybe?
Why anyone who is a long time holder would sell shares now when we are about to spud some wells within 30 days is kind of a puzzle to me but hey do what you want. My thinking is we will have pretty concrete answers of if this thing is going to fly or not within a year so meh what's another year in FOG land ..... keep the faith brothers and sisters.
over 2 mil in volume price has remained flat so possibly sellers and buyers. Again 230k CAD isn't really news worthy in my humble opinion.
2.6 mmscf seems like a far cry from what we originally were hoping for ? I understand with the rise in gas price we need less to make it commercially viable but will the 2.6 be increased in the weeks to come ?
Many members of this board had thought they would prove up the resource with a few wells then sell hopefully in 2023 ? What are you guys thinking now ?
2-3 MMscf/d is the target now ? what happened to 5 ?
I don't know how many times we need to go over this but stop worrying about the price change when there is no volume. If you wake up one day and see like 10's of millions in volume then ok maybe there is some news but until then nothing of note. If this thing busts or blows you will know it will not be a trickle it will be a flood.
What is there for them to say at this point ? I would rather have the stock driven up by facts and science than by speculation. Isn't that what everyone here was ****ed off about before ? It's like a car ride with children in here sometimes " are we there yet are we there yet." the answer is no. They've told you where we are going so sit tight and wait for them to tell you when we are there. If you don't have extreme patience then Falcon is not for you.
I would hate to see people who have held this long jump ship before we know anything.
Seems like many of you are feeling frustrated and I can understand why but I would not throw in the towel just yet. I still believe things will move along this year if ever so slowly. We surely are in a better position now than we were in before. moratorium lifted, drilling ,fracking, testing from multiple companies coming up. If any of them are successful we will see a big uptick, I think everyone needs to accept the glacial pace relax and await real news not speculation. Don't sweat about the stock price sliding 10 cents on 100k volume it means nothing.
I was wondering if POODS or someone else could enlighten me about what hurdles there are to buying large amounts of stock. I am quite a novice investor and have only ever bought say 20k shares at a time and they have always gone through right away at whatever I set the limit at. Does the mechanics of this change when I hear you say I will be attempting to add 250k shares ? or is it purely there being enough shares on the market to buy at that time ? i.e. I see an ask on tsx for 250k shares at .13 cad so I assume that's what available at that price ?
"Empire release:

"Carpentaria-2H Fracture Stimulation Update We are also pleased to advise shareholders that preparations for the commencement of the Carpentaria-2H (“C-2H”) fracture stimulation are well advanced. Equipment and crew are being mobilised and multi-stage fracture stimulation is expected to commence in the first week of July. As C-2H is Empire’s first horizontal well and will be only the fourth Velkerri Shale horizontal wellbore to be fracture stimulated and production tested in the Beetaloo Sub-basin, fracture stimulation and well completion practices are being refined. Continued refinement and development of Beetaloo Sub-basin specific drilling and fracture stimulation will benefit Empire’s future horizontal wells. A period of flowback of hydraulic stimulation fluids is anticipated prior to gas production as each of the treated stages progressively cleans up. Toward the end of the C-2H production test and later in 2022, we will move on to drill the Carpentaria-4V well and drill and fracture stimulate the Carpentaria-3H well. Empire looks forward to updating shareholders on what is the most active work program in the Company’s history. "
Frac activity starting next week. First production numbers may be expected end of Aug-Sep. Fingers xssed "
This seems like great news we got some action happening. Greenlantern you take a breath now.
Should we not all be happily buying during the bear ? I intend to buy more in the next two to three days which will bring my average buy to below .17 cad. With the government on board with developing the basin and Sheffield putting money in it would seem like a reasonable risk to take. Everyone is always out to lynch POQ but it's always darkest before the dawn so I'm still a bull on this one .... even if I'm just a little bull compared to some holders.
I sure hope you are right, I was wondering when we were going to see some action on the ground either via news or satellite as it's almost June. Lets get crackin' and frackin'
