From darrin1471 on the other bb:
I have just downloaded todays trades:
1.33m sold below 38p
17.07m sold at 38p
4.93m sold above 38p
Takeover rules prevent buyer paying above 38p. So who's buying and why? Not just us that thinks 38p is to cheap. Any counter bid needs to be 10% above 38p
I don't know him from Adam but I have checked his nos and they are correct.
So who's buying and why?
Not rushing to sell mine, been underwater a long time on these and still underwater, in no rush to take the offer.
Does anyone know who the major holders of this stock are and their average? Gabriele Cerrone held 66m at end of last year which makes him by far the biggest. No idea how much he paid for most of them and how much were freebies as part of renumeration.
I wrote off the majority of my position a while ago just keeping a few for a miracle, need about £10!
"We are now the largest private label supplier in the UK market and third largest player overall, behind Kimberly Clark and Essity."
I went looking for a profitably/EPS comparison but these competitors are just the UK business arms of multinationals against which Accrol is a minnow. A minnow that might get gobbled up? Only Reckitt (another giant ) and McBride (not-tissue) come up on the database under Nondurable Household Products. Anyone have other companies below Accrol in the UK pecking order I could compare against?
Interesting analysis. This company has done everything one might reasonably ask of a forward looking company. Invested in automation, reduced headcount, grown market share, grown through acqisution and yet still cannot turn a profit. Is there really no money in consumer essentials like toilet roll? Must have a look to see how their competitors are doing. Or will we soon be importing loo roll from China along with everything else? Very high relative strength, chart looks good and I believe in the management so I will hold.
Care to coment on something I posted yesterday elsewhere?
"fracture stimulation propagated out of zone ......... intersected a deeper horizon .......... caused the well to flow at high rates of injected water"
Anyone with fracking expertise care to comment on whether this was foreseeable up front or just 'sht happens' ?

Sorry not funny really. Decided this was a total write-off couple weeks back and started selling down through gritted teeth. Set myself a target of losing not more than 70% of my investment which is nearer 6 figures than 4 so not funny at all. Spent most of last year averaging down, what an idiot.
5k sold at 67.15 (-70%).
1k sold few days later at 81.25 which was a bit better. This also decided me to pause just a littlin case we had news early in the NY.
Just bought that 1k back this evening at 68 as price down 10% on what ought to have been seen as as good news and price enhancing albeit unfortunate to release on a NASDAQ downday. So, in the same pile of poo this evening as after selling the 5k but ~£132 less poor.
My sincere commisserations to those holding in acccounts where they can't trade, God knows I have seen enough price deterioration myself from LSE delisting to finally being able to trade again (AJBell). Hope it gets better for us all, much, much better.
Got a bid in the high 80s near open as thinking of taking my losses but didn't follow through. Bearing in mind the deadness of small cap activity in the UK the last 9 months, time of year and that the NASDAQ has dumped 4.5 points in as many days, perhaps best to tune out of price monitoring until the New Year. May avoid selling at the absolute lows which may be rather further down than today's price.
I don't know.......one possibility would be a share consolidation i.e. 1000 shares at $0.5 becomes 100 shares at $5. Whether this can be done within NASDAQ or there are other mechanisms to stave off the consequences of failing to maintain the minimum price I don't know.
But it again raises the scenario where the management carries on staying quiet and doing nothing until failure to comply becomes a certainty at which point the price rapidly heads for zero.
And if that sounds like a deramp I have nothing to gain with my investment being in the high 5 figures.
OK so I am not going to read hundreds of pages off small print however a quick search suggests that provided bid price doesn't fall below $1 for 30 consecutive days then no need to get too concerned. That said price has fallen consistently for 9m so needs to turnaround soon.

IM-5810-2. Staff Review of Deficiencies
(A) Bid Price
A failure to meet the continued listing requirement for minimum bid price shall be determined to exist only if the deficiency continues for a period of 30 consecutive business days. Upon such failure, the Company shall be notified promptly and shall have a period of 180 calendar days from such notification to achieve compliance. Compliance can be achieved during any compliance period by meeting the applicable standard for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days during the applicable compliance period, unless Staff exercises its discretion to extend this 10 day period as discussed in Rule 5810(c)(3)(H).
Yes just 'found' my TLSA are now showing as expected in my AJB SIPP at the 2:1 consolidation quantity i.e. all correct.
Accustem show as:
ACCUSTEM SCIENCES ORD GBP0.01
Quantity is pre-consolidation, no value. Don't think these will change before ACCUSTEM list on NASDAQ, supposedly next year but who knows?
From AJBell today in response to my latest enquiry as to the whereabouts of my TLSA shares:
"We finally received the share certificates towards the back end of last month and are currently in the process of depositing these in to our overseas custodian, Clearstream. Hopefully this process should be completed within the next week or two and thhen we can credit them to your account."

Video presentation of Q3 results and Q&A session
Meph, thanks for your thoughts on the points I raised, I think you have rather more experience and knowledge here than I. Point taken about the difficulty of single companies hiding bad news in the accounts. As with all companies, the nice to read numbers such as profit are highlighted and broadcast loudly, getting a full interpretation is down to us reading and understanding evey line in the published statements. Takes patience and experience. It would be dishonest of me not to admit that in my prior engineering lifetime I too learnt how to put the most positive spin on whatever data I was presenting. That said, often nothing like as positive as my seniors wanted, and often subject to amendment by those more skilled than myself!
Has anyone tried to work out what the average price is that GC paid for his shares?
Thanks for inputs. Want this to come good and given the prospects I think it should else I would be out. Guess I need to brush up un my understanding of financial reporting so I can make my own mind up on whether the reported figures are a true reflection of the overall position or are hiding something.
Well down on this holding and disappointed with the share price response. However from the published RNS:
On profitability:
Gross profit (loss) 4,411
Foreign currency translation adjustment (1,828)
Total comprehensive loss for the period attributable to equity owners of the parent (992)
So how the heck are we profitable? Maybe I don't understand a balance sheet?
On debt free:
(US$ 000s)
Working Capital
30 September 2021
Current assets 13,752
Current liabilities (21,851)
Working Capital deficit (8,099)
So how the heck are we debt free? 8M USD in the hole on liquidation. Maybe I don't understand a balance sheet?
No joy in this, 5 figure sum under, please can anyone explain the way out of this situation and what I am misunderstanding? Is it just the way things are accounted for?
Update from AJ Bell
Thank you for your message.
Tiziana shares have been removed from CREST and we are awaiting receipt of the certificates which we will then be able to deposited in to our overseas custodian. There was a delay in the share certificates being posted over to us from Computershare in the US. Our Corporate Actions team were constantly chasing them for this but were not getting much in way of a response but we have got confirmation that these are on the way to us now.
Once we have received the shares these will be deposited in to our overseas custodian and we will credit the shares to your account as soon as possible. I appreciate your continued patience in this matter and apologise for any inconvenience caused. If I get any further updates myself I'll be sure to let you know. Feel free to send me a secure message anytime and I can see what further information I can get for you.
In fairness to AJB I think much of this is outside of their control.
