I think this has something to do with sending messages across some of network (wireless network maybe?)...is this communication between two or more vehicles?....it sounds 'external' to the vehicle containing Fovio (which of course is internal monitoring of the driver an in-cab)

In Oct 2008 I bought 50k shares in DTG at a price of around 28p. I sold them a couple of weeks later and made around £150. Today, the price is around £13.50. If I had held those 50k shares would now be worth around £670k.

Well, i thought Origin would be drilling through the wet-season but above it says a 2nd well after the WS.

I wonder what Colin means by L2+/L3? Is this something more than a mere driver monitoring camera? Is this JC's prediction of internal monitoring-external monitoring both working together as one...man (or indeed woman) and machine working in perfect harmony?

I love this, love it very much. I know Colin's a tad biased but even if he's 20 or 30% out on his prediction it still equates to huge income flows for SEE

The insurance industry will have a huge impact on the technological direction taken by carmakers. Who will be legally and by inference financially liable in the event of a crash, collision or fatality (car occupant in the crashed vehicle, some other innocent in a car related or unrelated to the crash or a pedestrian killed or injured as a result of a wayward vehicle...who picks up the bill? The driver, the software manufacturer or the carmaker?

What a trooper he is

A wide spread is an indication of a lack of liquidity. A very tight spread is an indication of good liquidity. With SEE the liquidity can be pretty decent at times but only with certain trade sizes. I tried a dummy sell of 500k on Fri and couldn't get a price (the market didn't want to buy 500k of my stock at any price. That's not great as it may suggest a seller on the stock). I then tried a dummy sell of 50k and was quoted 4.20p suggesting limited appetite

The fact is, we have a seller and Lombard's taking advantage of that to stock up. I don't know who the seller is. Lombard might know. SEE might know but the retail grunt is in the dark as we're external to the inner workings of the market.

I can stare at my Level-2 all day with fingers crossed that the AX-MMs (Cenkos, WNTS, PEEL, Berenberg) start to actively bid up the price but it won't change the actual direction of the price

And that's what we are looking for. The Market Makers actively and bidding up the bid price in their 100ks

that's top work....and I do think you're correct in your assertion that there's a degree of cooperation and coordination regarding the development of auto-technology for the purposes of standardisation and in their efforts to create the components necessary to build the new infrastructure needed to give full expression to these developments

Lombard may have bought their extra 1% in an off-market transaction or they may have told a couple of MMs to buy as much stock as they can at current prices..in many ways the order book reveals little when the bigger players get involved as each MM know we are watching them so they'll work hard to fill a buy order without causing waves

I do post L2 info but it's for mostly entertainment..it is useful on limited occasions but as we saw with the Lombard transaction it is useless in that sense

I think Lombard's bought its stock from a seller they know rather than directly in the market as we would...there's no way they could accumulate 32m shares in a couple of days without the price showing some strength but the price has retreated so the seller is still around...let's hope Lombard keeps buying cos this seller's becoming a pain up the rectum

The real question is what area of the business will these people be working on? Is it automotive, Fleet or Aviation? The nature of their job and their task may reveal in which which part of the business they are working in...

Definitely. That is the direction of travel. The driver becoming at one with what he/she sees both internally and externally and in some cases 'senses'. Example, being headlights that align with the movement of the eyes or indeed eye for those with what some may term 'an impairment'

The bid was 4.20 and therefore the system of trade reporting noted your trade as a sell as it judged it was a sell being on or close to the bid. It's no big deal but it does reflect there's still plenty of stock around if you can buy from the bid rather than being asked to pay the offer.

Buying off bid is usually the preserve of DMA traders or internals (the reverse of retail traders or externals)

They have to make DMS a technology that is about much more than a safety mechanism but also something that turn the in-cab experience into something practical, utilitarian and pleasing. I'm sure this is happening
