I'm interested in Berenberg and the reason as to why this bank's aggressively bidding for stock on the GGP order-book. I think the bank holds in high esteem Numis the broker as per the comment from below.

Numis and Berenberg to work together on book-running so they do have a good working relationship. Considering the recent note from Numis and Herman's heavy bidding on the book I was wondering if they are working together for some purpose or other

DMA traders (non MMs) - they are anonymous and tend to be people like you and me...DMA allows you access to place orders on the order book...therefore you can buy off the bid and sell on the offer which of course is the opposite of us muppets...it costs around £2k pcm to get access with only a couple of UK providers of this specialist service

but the GGP order book is dominated by Market Makers
