SP Angel
The last we heard from SP Angel was via the Morning Brief a few days ago - they said they were looking forward to seeing the assay results from Provenir [re: 2nd Solgold RNS on Provenir at 664m visible mineralisation.]
So, out of the blue today, Wed, 7 Oct 2020, in the late afternoon, J.Meyer talks about Solgold. Would love to know what he means by another project in Ecuador -"LOTS GOING ON." He must mean Porvenir.
At the time of this interview, JM will be aware that the Solgold share price is 38p+ and creeping closer to 40p mark which could spurt to 45p [suitor bought in at this price] if there is news etc as is norm.
Suitor - Liberum thinks that a 55p carrot could be forthcoming in Q2, 2021. However, Porvenir changed all that as Solgold appears to be no longer a 1 project co ie Alpala. So, if the sp reaches 40-45p, then 55p is not as fab as when it was 26p BEFORE Provenir to 55p, say. Things have changed since Liberum*s thoughts - in Q2, 2021, Solgold would have drilled 9 months at Porvenir.
So, JM*s comment about BHP or Newcrest or Consortium means that it is possible that it is still in play with added possibility of consortium? Have to see.
BHP offered an investment proposal on Alpala after Newcrest bought in early at 6p and then later at 12p. BHP paid 45p [last price]. I think that the BHP investment proposal was when Alpala was at Hole 17.
Dr Bruce Rohlach[Chief Geo] said that 18-23 holes were needed at Alpala for a Maiden Resource. So not surprised that at Hole 17, BHP entered the fray.
JM*s thoughts on "value" was the most insightful as Porvenir is only at Hole 1. Looking at the RNS in detail, the model/chart shows that near Porvenir, there is another small/er satellite possible deposit which I think Solgold intends to drill. Also, they may drill deeper - depends of course on end-of-hole analysis [in general]. The models and charts are very INSIGHTFUL.
SP Angel was only up to assays when they last commented so in the days thereafter, all these comments sound really nice, put it that way.
