Beetatloo development is now under the control of the Aussie State (Canberra and NTG) and the gas companies will have to dance to its tune. When FOG sells its stake it will no doubt have to sell it to a politically approved buyer and one would think an existing player in the region known to the NTG

The Northern Territory (NT) Government will deliver a major upgrade of sections of the Carpentaria Highway.

It is a key access road to the Beetaloo Sub-Basin, Borroloola and an important service route for the pastoral, tourism, agricultural and mining sectors.

The road is also a key route for supplies and transport for Glencore’s McArthur River Mine.

This is a $150 million project, jointly funded over four years ($120 million from the Australian Government, $30 million from the NT Government).

The upgrades to the Carpentaria Highway will complement multiple strategic projects currently underway that aim to bring the Territory’s vision to become a world-class gas production, manufacturing and services hub to reality.

I believe Maris is the conduit between HUR and the remaining bondholders. Perversely, he's become an asset in this area of the company's operations

It would be very odd if they installed Qualcomm's 4th Gen and did't include SEE DMS. After all, SEE DMS has been actively chosen by Qualcomm as their DMS provider, they have themselves endorsed SEE DMS. Why a T1 or OEM would then install a competitor DMS doesn't stand up to rigorous or rational analysis

If the restriction is due to operational hiccup or oversight as opposed to natural geology then one would assume that's 'easily' resolved though I have no experience in this area so it's simply an idea

Allow me to throw a curve ball into the discusssion. I reckon the flow restriction issue is an invention to allow delay thereby allowing coordination of all Beetlao operators activities. It's no coincidence that all major Beetaloo operators are now drilling at exactly the same time. That is planned, that is political and designed for maximum impact and momentum

I talk a lot of detritus but I wouldn't be surprised if the next Kyalla update is positive, the flow has been resumed and the blockage (whatever that is) has been resolved

14 September 2021 - Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSXV: FO, AIM: FOG) is pleased to announce that operations have resumed at Kyalla 117 N2-1H ST2 ("Kyalla 117") in the Beetaloo Sub-Basin, Northern Territory, Australia with our joint venture partner, Origin Energy B2 Pty Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Origin Energy Limited.

As noted in the Company's press release on 20 July 2021, while Kyalla 117 flowed liquids rich gas without assistance for intermittent periods, production was not sustained and there was evidence of a potential downhole flow restriction.

Current operations, if successful in resolving the restriction, will result in an extended production test being carried out to determine the expected longer-term performance of the well. As a reminder to shareholders, Falcon is fully carried for all of the capex associated with this work.

Advanced driver-assist systems are designed to assist the human driver. Unfortunately, many people let their attention wander when using a system that functions correctly most of the time. It seems that adding a caveat that drivers must remain alert while their cars are in motion is not enough, and a more sophisticated way of ensuring driver attention is needed.

For now, the driver is still responsible for controlling the vehicle, even if their hands are not on the steering wheel. The new NHTSA investigation is an opportunity to examine the design of these systems, along with more testing and validation before deploying beta versions. Because these vehicles obviously affect other drivers on the road, inattention and overreliance need addressing before they exacerbate the problem.'
