'The upgrades to the Carpentaria Highway complement multiple strategic projects currently underway that aim to bring the Territory’s vision to become a world-class gas production, manufacturing and services hub to reality.'

The Northern Territory (NT) Government will deliver a major upgrade of sections of the Carpentaria Highway.

It is a key access road to the Beetaloo Sub-Basin, Borroloola and an important service route for the pastoral, tourism, agricultural and mining sectors.

The road is also a key route for supplies and transport for Glencore’s McArthur River Mine.

This is a $150 million project, jointly funded over four years ($120 million from the Australian Government, $30 million from the NT Government).

Chariot (AIM: CHAR), the Africa focused transitional energy company, announces that at the General Meeting of the Company held earlier today all resolutions were duly passed.

The Company is pleased to confirm that as a result of obtaining shareholder approval for the Fundraising, which comprised an oversubscribed Placing and Subscription and an oversubscribed Open Offer, Chariot has raised a total of US$29.5 million (GBP23.6 million). The net proceeds of the Fundraising will be used to:

-- advance the engineering and design of the Anchois Gas Development, including FEED project, project financing, gas sales and updated reserves report, to reach FID:

-- progress renewable power pipeline, strategic partnering and new venture opportunities; and
-- provide the Company with additional working capital.

The buy and sell columns are meaningless as trade reporting can be time delayed (with insiders allowed to delay trade reporting if permitted by LSE regs) according to size.

I believe the open offer was oversubscribed because the investment case for CHAR is strong. I did think the price would fall to and stay at or indeed below the placing price. It hasn't done that.

Do employee options (shares to be bought at some point in the future but not yet owned) count as a shareholding in the event of a takeover or do they lapse if not triggered even if a takeover is received and accepted?

The exercise price is a premium to the current price which is a positive if dilution of this nature is ever positive.

I wonder if POQ expects corporate activity across Beetaloo operators at some point down the line?

It's a spectacular performance considering the level of dilution....it's about builidng equity value and at some point monetising that value which of course is the very essence of all real capital investment

New Tier 1 customer appoints Seeing Machines for an additional European Automaker

Israel's NewMed Energy (Delek) looks to enter Moroccan market

Israel's NewMed Energy (DEDRp.TA) is looking to join the exploration sector in Morocco after it developed natural gas fields in the eastern Mediterranean that supply Israel, Egypt and Jordan, the company's chief executive said on Tuesday.

NewMed, which changed its name from Delek Drilling, is one of Israel's largest energy companies. Most notably it is partners with Chevron (CVX.N) in the massive gas field Leviathan offshore Israel that exports to Egypt and Jordan.

"NewMed Energy, together with international partners, is looking into the energy market in Morocco. Specifically natural gas exploration opportunities," chief executive Yossi Abu told Reuters.

He said the country's economy and its energy market offered a great potential. "It will be a stable ground for a long term investment."

Morocco joined a small group of Arab nations to normalize ties with Israel in 2020 in U.S.-sponsored agreements known as the Abraham Accords.

The agreements have already sparked one big energy deal, with Mubadala Petroleum, a unit of Abu Dhabi government-owned Mubadala Investment Company, buying a $1 billion stake in the Israeli gas field Tamar from NewMed.

Abu declined to give details on what specific projects the company had in mind. But he said it was targeting exploration in Morocco based on meaningful potential for local consumption and close proximity to the European market.
