Australia's attempt to prove up a world-class shale gas resource in the Beetaloo basin is ongoing with operators Santos and Empire Energy returning positive flow test results from their current wells.

Santos has an ongoing two-well operation at the Tanumbirini field where its project partner said today the latest flow test rates on the 2H and 3H wells have increased to 7.4 million cubic feet per day of gas and 4.3 MMcfd following the installation of production tubing.

We can now see acitivty across Beetaloo increasing and that provides evidence of movement and momentum at the political centre which of course is the main driving force of events at Beetaloo. I thought the election of authoritarian Labour may jeapordise Beetaloo's future but it seems not with the despotic Green zealots put back in its cot. So now I cannot see any political barriers to Beetaloo's speedy development except the usual caveats

I can't know for sure but I reckon it's the seller cleared which then pings the price higher as the weight of selling dries up to ease the downward pressure

So which is it? 4.27p, 7.46p or 15p. 3 vastly differing and I would argue inconsistent guesses, all in the space of a week, as to what the current price should be or may be at some point in the never future

The spread on this stock is total bullox..it's a farce

Two points of note

1. Maris has been forced to release this update by someone or other when only a few weeks he publicly stated that HUR would revert back to Quarterly updates. Well, Bernstein and Senseman's campaign appears to clearly has a + effect

2. Let's hope the ever growing levels of cash aren't wasted. I don't believe Bernstein will allow this to happen
