Well from the information I have managed to glean from either comparing from other companies that have submitted successful diagnostic and then adhered to NICE guidelines pre-pandemic & pre P.M Johnson, I believe the following is correct unless corrected otherwise.
The diagnostic tests are down to patients numbers who took part in the tests.
For example :One company researching colon cancer tested 122 patients, of which,they had a 122% success rate, then submitted.The company in question took , I believe about eight months to obtain their data (2015-2016)
Its about numbers of patients , not time length although I have seen some evidence of testing to take a couple of months to a year on phase 2 .
Then if NICE guidelines are used, then about 18 weeks with a lot scrutiny, which I will publish later , to give some transparency .
