With the fully vaccinated shedding virus which can only be picked up at ct levels of around 27, how does the innova test compare to pcr. If the innnova test goes down to 50 % or lower then. There is no point using of them.

For Av6000 would depend on design of the trial. If there is positive safety data. It still could be up to 6 months before any trial would be unblinded. So a strong base of £2 upwards would be nice.

Can covid 19 be spread by people who are vaccinated? If the answer is maybe or don't know, then testing should be fully supported by the government until such time that infection rates are below 5000. Other wise there is definitely a false sense of security. People just walking around supermarkets and treating things as they were 2 years ago.

Avacta hold the patients to Affimers. Anything classed as an affimer would need to licensed from avacta. If Leeds uni have patented their particular research. I would imagine avacta would still have a slice of the pie. All of course in IMHO.

We have to pcr test omce a week, and have done since December. Recently last two months have to take one lateral flow, the same day as the pcr and another a few days later. Whether this is to check and verify the lfd is one thing, I would assume they know the innova test isn't very good, but is the only option at the scale they require..

Tbh, the government should fund all daily testing, as it should allow the economy, business etc to get back to a sense of normality. If you test as infectious on the day then you don't go out. Then hopefully reducing the R number . They have spent billions on furlough, test and trace. It has took billions off our gdp etc. So a small expense per person, to allow easing in a controlled manner IMO would be a good way to go

RMF all testing is linked to government. As work in public sector. All results are emailed to HR. And is mandatory as well as wearing all necessary ppe and social distancing etc etc.

Through work, I PCR test once a week and LFT twice a week with one LFT taken on the same day before the PCR.
Personally I believe and I said this over 12 months ago is to get an accurate LFT test taken every morning which you then scan onto an app which gives you a free pass for the day. Problem with PCR it is still a 2 day wait to get your results and PCR is only good for the time/day of test. By the time you get results you could be infectious but of tested negative two days Before. All in IMO
