Ducter, this is my theory, after investing in companies for 30 years, mostly successfully, but to answer your question, its the marketeers (not the market makers, but parties iis hedge funds whatever constitutes the "big boys" Dont get me wrong, the market makers are all, "you scratch my back "etc,) but think of it like the Thames barrier, when a flood of buys come in, these marketeers have the ability to diversify the position, allowing the "swell" to be absorbed and in cahoots with MMs reporting can be camouflaged, as we see daily on JT Mac and Tillys reporting. Sure if there was an aggressive takeover whereby a party was buying all and sundry, it would be radically different. but we are trade bound until all the pieces of this magnificent jigsaw come together.
do you remember those pictures that were all the rage about 10 years ago, you would stare at them and then all of a sudden, you would get the whole picture in 3d, well thats what this is like, some of us can see treasure island really clearly and others, not naming any names just see coloured dots.
gla off for a g&t and maybe a rum!
