The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Full 'ask' paid 0.44p. Could it be a 'blue' day?
Rhodium price inching down again on trade war fears. See Johnson Matthey Price Tables which are updated 4 times a day. I don't think there is anything to worry about just yet.
Can't see any big problems commissioning new concentrator. They have been operating old concentrator for long enough and will have gained lots of operating experience. I am sure the old and the new concentrators operate on the same basic engineering principles!
Looks like the concentrator plant is coming on nicely.
Glad to see Spanish bank loaning WRES 3 million Euros at such a low rate of interest. They must have gone over the W Resources financial figures and projections with a fine tooth pick to make sure they get their money back. This is a professional 3rd party vote of confidence. Glad to hold.
What does Simon Thompson say in Investors Chronicle? Unfortunately I don't pay subscription to the web magazine.
Pd currently down $82 on the day. Rhodium may follow. Will have to see what tomorrow brings.
The trades of 4,444,667 and 4,434,118 at 0.45p and 0.4508p are my Bed and Isa sell and buy. (£20,000) Seems like a good time to do it!
3rd quarter results due any day now. If they are as good as I expect we should get a pop in the share price and Simon Thompson will probably give a bullish tip in his Investors Chronicle column.
I suspect we will get another 'buy note' released by Turner Pope after this latest RNS in the next few days.
Bid price moved up. 0.53p
Now 0.50p to sell.
Simon Thomson write-up should be in the magazine tomorrow on view to the vast subscriber base.
Very 'doveish' tone by US Fed yesterday on outlook for interest rates and quantitative easing, and thus weakening US dollar will support commodity prices over the coming weeks.
'Ask' price just ticked up to 0.44 pence.
Article at ft.com (Financial Times) that investors are buying Platinum ETF'S on hope that car maker's will switch their catalytic converters to use more Platinum and less Palladium as price is too high. Net effect is Palladium price will drop but Platinum price will only move a little as there is large surplus above ground. Doesn't do us any favours does it?
1. UK heatwave through all February can't be good for holiday booking customer priorities.
2. More talk by politicians about extending Brexit will also affect sentiment.
3. In May we will get long range weather forcasts for the Summer. Let's hope its not like last year.
4. Thomas Cook airlines will only get a good price if there are two or more bidders, otherwise it will go for peanuts.
I found this out when I tried to sell my house.
Trouble is the big investors are able to convert an £8m loan into shares at 5 pence at any time so if the share price rose they would do it sooner rather than later as they'd be daft not to. So the MC of the company is more like £15m rather than £6m. Conversely the Company can repay the loan at any time (if they get the money from somewhere else) to stop the dilution. I think the sale of Patisserie at the beginning of February was timed to coinside with the normal timing of the Trading Update, I am not sure why they would do this. They don't now in theory have to come out with any results until the end of September 2019.
Posters on ADVFN are saying there's a report in the Daily Mail that Thomas Cook's has been sold to a German competitor for £550million (a few pence per share above where we are now). The link is:

Cedex business could be flawed. Bitcoin ,Ethereum and hence Cedex are losing value in a bear market as Financiers, Central Bankers and Politicians 'talk down' Cryptocurrencies. Only Max Keiser of 'The Keiser Report' (RTS Channel Russia Today) is the only person that talks them up. The crux of the matter is that no one will convert their diamonds, which are a long term store of value, into Cedex Cryptocurrency while it is going down in value, they would wipe out their wealth. For Cedex to work, there has to be a change in sentiment , i.e. Cryptocurrencies have to be going up in value on a major bull run.
