Does anyone know what ICD's historical track record for the outcome of buying stakes in target companies is? Is it good or
bad?
That'll take some researching!
Following Report was posted on Bloomberg.com last Friday (14th. January). I cannot get full story as I am not a subscriber.
'Industrial companies are making deals and investments to gain more control of raw materials and reduce potential disruptions.'
Seems to vindicate what ICD are doing.
Why did IDS Alloys buy a stake and not simply let WRES go to the wall , and buy the La Parrilla mine off the receivers without the debt. I believe this is because 'other' parties are interested in the assets and WRES have a credible turnaround plan. The problems they have highlighted are not rocket science but basic engineering problems.
Update clearly says mining to take place for most of the festive period up to 31st. December 2020. Why should this year be any different?
In anticipation of pre-Christmas update?
On W Resources website under 'media', a 'new' video interview with Michael has appeared dated today 11/12/21 with P R O A C T I V E I N V E S T O R S. It appears to be an old video, so has a clerical error been made in downloading the wrong video on the website. Can somebody get clarification with the Company?
Placing announcement clearly stated that shares 'were taken up by 'new' and 'existing' shareholders.'
When the previous £2.5m Placing took place in May 2021, the shares were admitted onto the AIM market on 21st. May. It wasn't until 12 days had passed (including 2 weekends and a public Bank Holiday) until the 2nd. June that the 'CRUX' investment was announced to the market. If my hunch is correct, and we get good news on 'significant' shareholdings', regarding the last placing in November 2021, then we should again get any notification in the next couple of days. If it is good news, shareholder sentiment may do a remarkable 'U' turn for the better.
DYOR.
Will the recent Placing reveal any 'significant' new shareholdings on the share register or an increase in the 'CRUX' share holding? We will find out over the next few days.
Also confirmation of completion of 2nd. water dam due any day?
Midwest Tungsten Services (USA) has now sold out of Large Tungsten Cubes (see Amazon link). Will the endless millions of cryptocurrency enthusiasts who want the cubes, send the price of Tungsten higher in the coming weeks?
I am expecting a 'Parrilla Update' when they can say the 2nd. water dam is completed, with a guidance on production. It makes sense to do this. Dam completion timetable was 'November' according to the RNS. So due anytime.
Others' on the A D V F N Board were expecting a total 'wipeout', even posted videos of 'tumbleweeds' drifting through a ghost town!
Interview has come out in last hour. Michael is bullish and is also attending COP 26.

You missed off the end of my quote 'that has not YET been demonstrated'
All now down to the laws of Physics and Metallurgy. This is my view and why the shares are not zero.
WRES must soon be a take over target. Why wait for WRES to restructure the debt? Other companies with access to cheap capital at 1% or 2% would be able to do this overnight. The only part of the puzzle that's missing is the optimum thoughput and ore grades with 24/7 operations that has not yet been demonstrated.
Can any one post a link to it so less informed shareholders on here can study it!
Thanks.
I posted this a few weeks back. Now doesn't seem so implausible. Fingers crossed!
Listen to today's podcast at v o x m a r k e t s.
See 'other' discussion board. I am optimistic it is a buy rather than a sell, it is 'unknown' as went through at mid price of 7.0 pence. Will surely be an RNS for it as was over 3% of share capital. Institutions or Directors dealing?
Can anyone print top 10 shareholders list of holdings on this page. Not sure I want to log in to 'Simply Wall Street.'
Thanks.
