An excess of current liabilities over current assets of $47.8m shows that this company is hopelessly insolvent and has been for some considerable time. The only reasons its stayed afloat this long is due to the upfront offtake payment of $42.8m and endless placings. The list of immediate payments total $7.5m just to keep the lights on. Even, in the unlikely event that George pulls yet another rabbit out the hat, it will still need further funding, given that the majority of production (if it ever gets to production) will produce zero revenue as it will be offset against the offtake payment.

I can only see one outcome and that is Administration - shame for the shareholders who have been a pretty loyal bunch.

For any of those doubters out there (Roger65) in particular, you really need to watch the whole presentation - its is highly informative, and for once on AIM demonstrates a viable business entity with detailed evidence in support of resource, plant, funding, off take agreements - pretty much everything needed to become a cash generative and profitable company in the very near term.

Not only is Bernie a cracking geologist/engineer, but he also has a decent understanding of the finances. I particularly liked the comments about being under budget on build etc.

Be in no doubt, this is going into production within the next few months at which point, if not before, LTH's patience will be rewarded.

Steve - you sound very similar to Roger65. This used to be a pretty decent board for adult discussion about KOD with serious investors highlighting the positives and negatives based on information available at any point in time and adding in their own experience. Latterly we’ve been inundated with woefully poorly informed and bitter people.

Yes - there is still a little way to go to production and no doubt other administrative issues to resolve, but simply look at where we are now compared to a couple of years ago. Simply an outstanding opportunity to multiply from here.

A pretty good RNS today - justification for the LTH who had faith in Bernie to continue to deliver on the road to becoming a fully fledged producer in the next few months. There will always be those who either panic when less than favourable news is published - just human nature - and those that simply have a problem with others actually being successful and making money.

The real reason that we are here is to invest to make a profit - that's really simple. Picking the right shares is the hard part, especially on AIM. With Bernie and his team we have, in my opinion a guy that really knows his stuff and will lead this company to a position of being a highly successful and profitable mining entity.

I have been invested in KOD for a considerable time and have never once been panicked into thinking about selling. At some point I will sell some of my holding, but that will be at a price way north of todays.

Very simply, its a mining company on AIM in Mali - there's bound to be bumps along the way! My take is that we're almost there.
