I have to admit I sold my holding yesterday at 101.5 had an average of 97.5 and made a healthy 2.5k profit. Whilst I do believe this stock is crazy undervalued currently the shorters keep attacking at every opportunity to bring it down. My plan is to weekly trade this stock until September every time it drops into the 90s. Could be wrong but I was sick of seeing missed opportunities.
Do they come out today or tomorrow? Not looking pretty...
I bought in this morning for a small 20k chunk at 152.6p - mental this drop on these great financials, expecting a big turnaround this afternoon/tomorrow.
I am looking to invest a sizeable chunk here but will wait until the backlash of the financial results. I had a similar pain with AML where I saw my investment drop 60% in value but I held through and sold for a massive profit. With all the shares on the market there is massive fluctuation.
I don't see the cinema industry dying following the pandemic but having to adapt. I am going to see how this plays out next week before I invest and hopefully see more short positions reduce.

Hi Mark
Whilst I agree the reduction of ONE short position is good, you have two other shorted increasing their short on the 24th July. A massive short of 8.29% on this share is going to keep hammering it down. I think the true turning point on this share will be when you see A LOT of these short positions heavily reducing. That will be my buy signal.

Hmm seems I was right to cancel my 75p buy order.. Going to see how this plays out before getting in
Sorry I see this going below the rights issue price. Not having much confidence with this stock yet.
wow your posts are getting more desperate... please do take this guys advice if you are waiting to invest, this is going to fall a lot more before it recovers.
Where have you seen the shorters reduce? It looks like there was 2.09% increase on the 25th June. I would hope you aren't spreading false information to entice people to buy...

Whilst I agree with your sentiment that the share is undervalued. Placing a bet on the basis the US will not close down its cinemas again is dangerous information. Over the weekend they saw the largest spikes recorded in 16 states and are starting to slowly react. This is going to get quickly out of hand if they do not enforce extreme lockdown measures. We already know that the deaths lag 2 weeks beyond the spike. I would wait until that data is released and see how they react. There is going to be a huge spike in death rates that will spook the entire market (not just Cineworld).
This market is really crazy (especially the US). I have taken the view that nothing is a long term hold for me anymore, if I can make 20%, I am out and will wait for re-entry. The next 6 months are going to be very volatile and we are likely to see massive swings across all stocks. I have had my eye on Cineworld for a while (missed the boat last time) because of those massive swings. Anyway, let's see what the afternoon brings us when the US opens.
New here - I think this has a little while to go before bottoming, the US market is looking for a major crash which I think could drop this into the 40s. Will wait to see if I am right. If not best of luck.
