Morning everyone!
Hope Copper is able to build on this breakout and not fall back like yesterday.
It's our Labrador Alfie or 'handsome pants' as he's often called, birthday today and it's a special one as he's moved up into double figures. He's wearing a new collar with a copper name plate so we're doing our bit to encourage price rise.
Share price has reacted to fall in copper which it often does.

Will help profits.
Thanks hash. Yes, that's the plan. When the share price is this volatile, I'd rather take some profit than risk losing it all if the price falls back. Volume is also a key factor. There have been times when I've ended up having to buy back in at a higher price so, will be interesting to see whether I've called it right.
Pure luck! Price could go either way at the moment so if there's good profit to make in the short term, I'll take it. Started buying again at £4.28 and at intervals from different accounts all the way down. Was showing a considerable paper loss for a while though until recovery kicked in.
Agree £4.40 ish is now the new resistance area which is why I've sold some lower price batches in case share price falls back especially, as price of copper is falling again. That way I can purchase more at a lower price. Might turn out to be a mistake if price continues to rise but would rather take some profit now and hold the rest. Can also buy back in if there's a further rally in the short term with just stamp duty to pay.
Price just shot up to over £4.618 for a few minutes but think it must have been some sort of error as I tried to sell more of the ones bought around £3.80 but couldn't. It's now showing £4.416
Good afternoon Rastuss, can you please explain why you think final settlement will likely be in cash.
Thanks,
saurus
ANTO & RIO both down approx 20% in the past few months.

Something to do with there being an equal and opposite force on the share in the upward direction (Newton's Third Law), which makes it bounce. The conversion of elastic energy to kaz-etic makes it rise.
Always knew my O' level Physics would come in handy one day.
Might be the case with other boards but don't think I've ever read such claims from the regular posters on here. I find it an interesting, informative and friendly board with some very knowledgable individuals where differing views are discussed with respect and light humour.
Personally, I don't know where the bottom of the current range is. I'm slowly buying Kaz again but don't expect to buy at the exact bottom or even sell at the top of the range . If it's ever happened at all, it's pure luck! Bought 11,393 shares so far between approx £4.21 - 4.28 so already showing a paper loss.
.... best guess having just polished the old crystal ball:
Can clearly see not all partipants of this board are male.
Can make out skies of grey turning to skies of blue with fields on fields of daffodils swaying in a gentle breeze. A young child laughing runs past and picks one of the many bulbs. Underneath is a piece of paper with the name Mr Copper. Below that there's some numbers .... difficult to quite make out but if I turn the glass a bit I can just about see the outline ..... nah, it's gone all cloudy again!!

Somewhat apprehensive re my gold mining shares following today's fall in Gold price. Took a lopsided peek when DJIA opened .... Share price down but not as bad as I feared and it's recovering.
Still well down on price bought at and takes number 2 slot for worst share I've ever bought. It's a bit like one of those fridge magnets .... and acts as a reminder to me to take more care when considering banking shares!
That's one of my chunks ha, ha!
I wish ......
Hi hash, know that feeling well lol! The price has always recovered though .... Just ties up capital in the meantime. Have bought around a third so far and just watching share price carefully for now.
Not quite 1% for copper. Highest price so far up around 0.77%.
Recent share drop has understandably spooked many investors. Whilst I too remain cautious as to whether price has bottomed out, I've started buying again.

"No-one is immune to the kind of systems failures that hit the London Stock Exchange this morning, of course.
Back in 2015, Bloomberg’s systems crashed for several hours - leaving traders unable to operate, and even forcing the UK government to delay a debt auction.
The disruption was blamed on an “internal network error”.... but there was a rumour, alas never confirmed, that an IT worker had accidentally spilt a can of coke on a server"
