Thanks RH. I am wondering if a Linde type deal could happen with McPhy as it is virtually a clone of ITM. Their list of customers and partners (including Linde) is impressive.

Thanks Backspace. One of the reasons I went for the scatter-gun approach is it is so difficult to predict forward with leading edge companies selling new technology in an emerging market so my spread is small companies like ITM and McPhy to large like CNHI and Orsted etc. The SP on the bigger companies moves more gradually and the smaller ones carry more risk/reward so overall it spreads/reduces risk. I don't normally recommend but if I decided to cut my holdings I would keep ITM, McPhy, Nel, Orsted and Plug.

I got increasingly disillusioned by poorly performing unit trusts and investment trusts so decided to create my own fund instead and just use trackers for the rest of the markets buying in when the FTSE drops. ITM is the major and oldest holding in the fund and all the rest have been purchased since March this year. So far it is performing very well and given the interest in hydrogen now I expect that to continue for the forseeable. Some of these have divis also. One I haven't put on yet is Faurecia.

The reason I think TK will get the bail out as the Getmans won't want them taken over by Liberty Steel - a British Company plus the strategic importance of their hydrogen production capabilities.

Thyssenkrupp are seeking a big bail out from German Govt. I bought in too early based on their H2 business but it is a very long term bet for me so not too bothered. Looking back at ITM dips years ago they seemed bad at the time but not any more. I was just kidding - Tesla are good cars and looked very seriously at getting one but we have H2 refuelling nearby so going to skip the battery stage. There will be some decent fc cars in 3-4 yrs at a reasonable price. Still too expensive at the moment unless you lease one for work.

Wait for fcev - you wont regret it. No point in lugging nasty heavy batteries around. Plus Tesla is 1970s build quality.
