Are we only moving up because of the hedge fund holding??

I'm new to the Immupharma party, only being a shareholder since October. I don't have much, but still its around £6K.

I bought in on the hype of p140 and I'm happy to stay here. VkiR's posts helped me make the decision to buy.

I read the recent RNS and whilst it mentioned that there was interest from the top 10 of global pharma companies, I thought that it did not mention that any of these top 10 had signed the CDA.

Having said that, I'm happy enough with the CEO interview earlier today.

At last we've breached the 60p.

Will we reach 70??

It does appear cheap. They have a very dominant share in the Irish Farm business, whilst increasing exposure to commercial business. They seem solid in the motor and home areas as well. But for the large holdings by two shareholders, the company would be a nice take over target. However, it is unlikely that these two holders would sell out, hence no possibility of a takeover/sale.

Blue now for a few days. Should I be happy or worried??

Is this the type of company that would be better listed in US?

Lots of buybacks here, but shareprice is holding at around this level (44/45p). Any thoughts on why buybacks are not assisting in raising SP, or is it a case where but for the buybacks, the SP would be lower than it currently is?

With about 20p cash per share, surely the SP should be higher???

So latest KLARNA fundraising marks valuation at only 13% of previous valuation. If this was to be repeated, where would the SP rest? Is there a case to me made against managers for (most charitably) negligence?

Still awaiting scrip dividend shares to drop into my account though.

This might not be PC, but banks exist to lend money to make money. It is not their job to save the planet.

We must remember that it is these traders who make Barclays. Without them, the profits would not be as high. We need these lads. I have no difficulty in paying them bonuses. If we lose them, then how do we replace them?

I've been looking at these for some time as an alternative to buying individual shares. Why do they issue new shares so often though?

Hoping that the get to 130, at which time I think I'll sell and reinvest in City of London Inv Trust. nice old yield and I needn't be watching the think like a hawk!

I really have no difficulty with the traders getting large (immorally high??) bonuses, as it is only through their efforts that the bank makes the profits, of which 1p filters down to us.

slightly off topis, I know, but the photos of the banks all huddled together brings Goldsmith's 'Deserted Village' to mind. 12 months ago, these towers were crammed with people working and now?????????

what if the €20bn raised was used to bring down debt. That would leave a debt of under €10bn which would probably mean higher dividends??
