Be careful looking at what the spread tells you is a buy or sell, look at the 100k ‘sell’ at 157.50 - surrounded by two other sells at 156.05, so clearly this 100k was a buy. Lots of sells makes PIs nervous so drives further sells.

You need to go back and look at what they are doing with this drill and remember it’s an existing producer.

Given the buys today I would suggest there may be a similar sell order in the system - better to shift them now before further ASX news later in the week.

All Jethro operations are complete. What we are expecting is analysis of the drill results to give us indication of OIP, recoverable resource, API etc. This information could come out next week or we may not see it until an updated CPR after Joe. I disagree that any further drilling will be Q2 2020 and I think news of a Jethro 2 appraisal well and a Jethro channel well will be not far away.

I believe the poster was talking about the Joe drill, however the Repsol drill would put a good 50p on the SP given what it would be proving up.

Rowan Companies plc has announced that Repsol Exploracion Guyana, S.A. has signed a contract for the EXL II, a high-specification Super 116E Jack-up rig, for work in Guyana. The contract is for one well beginning in the third quarter of 2019 with a duration of approximately 45 days. The EXL II is currently under contract with BP in Trinidad.

I think be end of Sept they will know, that’s going to be a hard call for people looking to trade the Joe results with impending Jethro data also.

Since the RNS we’ve had a nice steady rise from 17.5p.
