I believe the whole idea is to buy low and sell high... Some would do well to remember that.

Bushveld is specifically positioned to take advantage of both low and high price environments. As much as people love to talk themselves out of their investments - currently by obsessing about the vanadium price, people are forgetting that right at a critical moment for profligation of VRFB from China and beyond, the price is hitting a sweet spot where it is both very profitable and also an enabler for VRFB. I wonder what that will do to demand as the year progresses.

It's funny how everyone 'got it' at $100/kg, but when the reality is upon us, some are so easily rattled. I imagine Mikhail is rather pleased.

I agree with your post ZF. I would add that this BB has left the door open to phoney actors trying to sow seeds of doubt under the guise of seeking balance. This stance insinuates that balance is not provided by well known posters who have more money at stake and have more to lose by not understanding their investments fully. This is wrong. Every atom of BMN is forensically examined by holders day in and day out so that argument just does not stand up.

Note when said individuals post. Note their similarity in tone to NVH and his chums from our recent history, note how they love to shout how they have never sold a share and how no one responds to their hollow arguments. It's textbook.

Ken, the main reason I agree that would be a good idea would be because it would spell out to the lazy investors, what a change in stature this company is undergoing. Not sure of its direct effect on value, but combined with the JSE listing and compacted newsflow, it would be like a chrysalis opening to reveal a beautiful new elephant for investors. I mean butterfly of course.

And not to mention BB, the recent personnel moves that might suggest BMN are much closer to knowing what and when their next acquisition may take place and that they are ready to deploy people. We aren't going to hit 10000 MTV in time just through Vametco.

Things are going to come to a head and when they do there will be fireworks. That's why I am invested, not for wondering endlessly when a token dividend might land or focusing on small beer delays.

Taking a step back even further, we have had dividend news, Vametco resource and Brits news, any data that would allow value for Lemur and so on, all pushed back further and further into the year. Now there is obviously good reasons for each, and that has obviously caused some frustration, but when you look at it from the other side and ask why, and knowing there is a JSE listing ahead, there is a great deal of value accretive news being pushed closer and closer together...

The last couple of quarters have been a real test of nerve and patience for some, which I can understand, but that should be balanced with an understanding of the pressure that is being built up with what lies ahead. The second half of the year could be spectacular as we lead into the JSE listing and progressing the Eskom project.

Not long ago news of $1m funding from the same DBSA who look like helping BMN with downstream project finance and Sinohydro signing off on the power BFS would have been simply lauded. It's disappointing that the first reactions were to skip the actual focus of the RNS and concentrate on the footnote. The cynicism that has started to creep into some is a shame - not a criticism btw, just an observation. For me that's a great RNS.

Adds fuel to the fire onefcc! And yes it would be great to hear from Vanitec on this subject. Current soft pricing in China just can't last for any duration when supply is constrained. It wouldn't surprise me to see China get their domestic price exactly where they want it and then start buying furiously at large volume and we end up back where we ended last year, or higher.

If the market players aren't careful the stability that could have been achieved around $60-70 is going to again be replaced by wild swings. It feels to me like some major price engineering is happening in China. How you manage to get a commodity to fall in value by over 50% when it is in a compounded structural deficit seems bizarre and convenient to those on the demand side to say the least.

Basic laws of economics suggest all is not as it seems and this downtrend is potentially going to correct more sharply than last year at some point.

1p up for an hour is nothing. We were 39p on March 27th.

Looks like they felt new blood was needed to drive through the transformation programme at Vametco with new rigour. That's very good news. Feels like a great time for some new blood installed by BMN at Vametco.
