It would also explain why European prices for once led Chinese pricing when they dropped. It wouldn't be a huge leap to think sudden oversupply by a major player into a market where demand was a little lower than expected would have a compounding effect downwards meaning China then had to turn back to its own domestic market and thus carried the effect on meaning they then tracked the Euro price down, despite the longer term structural deficit. The good news is that situation cannot last and will ultimately make the deficit worse. We can see Chinese prices are trying to rebound which further substantiates this view.

Yep, certainly at the point they had dropped the vanadium price through a concerted effort and made the purchase of Largo more affordable than it ever should be... Oh wait..
