To be fair to Larky it probably will happen one day given the role energy storage is likely to play in the world's future and how valuable Bushveld may ultimately be. We will no doubt be saying it won't happen right up until that day.

I do get your point but I don't think those two things can be entirely separated. We have traded to this level without any rise in the vanadium price or less of a rise, so you could equally argue that this is just more of the same and in fact the vanadium rise hasn't affected us at all.

I love that you used Bushfield.

The main issue with that view is that it justifies 23p as a reasonable share price to rise from in the first place. 26p doesn't account for the rising vanadium price, it barely scratches the surface of the mis-pricing distorting the value of the company. Accepting that the recent rise reflects the rising vanadium price (for me) ignores everything about how much we have been shorted inordinately, the large selling that has pushed us down and everything else negatively pressuring the share price of late. If we had risen 10% from 40p+, just maybe that argument would have some legs but there would still be scope to argue that even then it was a drop in the ocean compared to the real value the BoD are creating and delivering. I don't buy it.

I hope the MM assisting the shorters trying to drag the price down is sweating very heavily this morning with outside temperatures rising and vanadium prices storming upwards. Your days are very much numbered.

Got to love how bullish he is. The market has totally mispriced us. You can tell they still feel they are being conservative because of how difficult it is to value the real potential of BE, and the impact of further rises in the vanadium price. There's upside on his valuation that is for sure.

The 14% reduction in costs at Vametco is excellent news and shows the tightenining up of processes is paying dividends. A decent boost from the rands performance also. Add in a stronger dollar and a weaker pound and that's a hat trick of good currency moves for Bushveld.
