Worked furiously to stall our rise at 26 and then shifted us rapidly downwards on very few trades. Let's see if the reverse is true once they have their pound of flesh. There was a clear tussle between MM's who wanted the share price to continue up and those in cahoots with whoever want it down. And make no mistake they certainly have some assistance.

The fundamentals of this grossly undervalued company keep improving, compounded by solid progress across all facets of a business which is generating huge amounts of cash and expanding quickly.

It is very very clear that the only people interested in selling shares at 23p are shorters who represent a tiny fraction of those involved with the company. It's time the market started actually working for investors and reflected the true balance of sentiment and support for Bushveld because the current valuation is absolutely derisory. We are up there with the best of the best on AIM financially. So should our share price be too.

It is designed to frustrate. This move is nothing but opportunism from shorters and servicing the MM's own margins after the recent rise. It bears no resemblance to recent performance which has been absolutely stellar.

There is plenty of data regarding the LCOS of VRFB's ,the appetite of the Chinese and others to instigate projects at different pricing levels and so on. It's not at all as simple as suggesting there is no data. Bushveld themselves have provided plenty.

That and the fact that our unscrupulous MMs sold a lot of shares over 26p last week. They need to cover thatans lo and behold they can today, easily.

People are selling shares for almost 10% less than they could have done 2 trading days ago. That should tell you all you need to know about the motivations here.

The short selling and manipulation that has been rife here is coming under heavy pressure from the fundamentals. That is a fact. This can't credibly be kept at these levels for too long.

And it's worth noting, $45 per kgV is about the sweetest possible spot for the price to land for both profitability for our Vanadium production and attractiveness of VRFB.

The vanadium price is rising - it's over $40/kgV in China now. Production is up, let's not worry about what our visitors are doing with Ironveld. Clearly despite what they say, they all love reading this board. Last week's RNS was brilliant and we have had a few chancers try and have a go off the back of the rise. It's short term shenanigans whilst the long term picture gets better and better. Let's rise above their rubbish Bushwhackers.

He's a rather angry guy. Not really surprising given his trading history.

So because the UK is in the mess it is we have no right to have an opinion on any other government.

That's ridiculous.

No one doubts that the UK is equally deserving of criticism, no one is doubting Ramaphosa's aspirations, but it is perfectly reasonable to critique the state of affairs part way into a presidency without sticking your fingers in your ears and just pretending it's just all fine all of the time. No one is saying that he won't go on to have great success, but equally there have been a lot of areas where progress has been slower than anticipated and it's not a sleight on BMN or judging his entire presidency to make a comment on that progress.

Totally agree on the lack of impact Ramaphosa has so far had, there are many threads hanging and expectations missed to date but if Bushveld keep delivering and doing what they have been so far the inherent value and obvious mis-pricing will simply be impossible to ignore. I could not disagree more that £1, £2 will happen, it will. I remember when we were all hopeful for 10p.

I can still remember Knuttie saying 14p and he was gone and having to persuade his good lady that we would go higher...

Every level creates the same scepticism, then we break it.

Speaking of explosive share growth, one frequently mentioned on AIM and sometimes even on here, is ASOS. Some readers may be interested in the following statistic relating to their well known SP growth trajectory.

I would note that this is not intended to compare us directly, but to show how their growth, disrupting an existing industry happened and over what period. Obviously Mcaps differ at this stage but you can imagine some of the same questions being asked within this stage of their journey.

It's worth reminding yourself that even disrupting an industry takes some time to really filter through to the SP because growing a business takes time and patience, and it's worth also noting ASOS had some very well known black swan events on their journey that affected the SP considerably.

It's definitely about keeping focused on the strategy being delivered and the long term development. The SP will get there. Look at what the business is actually achieving.

The MM's sold a lot of shares around the 26+ level, they have got a lot back today at lower prices. No one is saying it's not overdone and completely at odds with the fundamentals but it's not entirely surprising either.

Well said Jimbo. The point is not Fridays closing SP but how brilliant H1 has been, the fact that we have had consecutive rises in the vanadium price and even our brokers have had to state publicly we have exceeded their expectations. That should be a very good week for anyone who is actually bought into Bushveld and not just a quick reward.

This is exactly the sort of post that gets written when there is a retrace after a rise. Most rises have one...

Do you honestly think that the rising vanadium price will have no impact on the SP? It's not like there isn't a precedent...

I don't think you can speak quite that definitively about the future possibility of a buy out being an absolute no. I could certainly see a scenario down the line where a major (a Siemens-type such as Alfa has suggested or a global energy co etc) promises massive inward investment and Bushveld and SA say thanks very much that will be £x. Money talks.
