Received dividend today and for the first time am not reinvesting it in Carrs.
My only thought about Whynnstay and NWF is that animal feed processing is highly energy demanding so maybe sale of Billington may be beneficial in the long run.
Should there be any attack on dividends then I'm out as well.

The decision to dispose of Billington feeds has gone ahead by 98% in favour. I see a similarity with Premier Foods where the "family silver" was sold off piece by piece to keep going, driving the share price down to pennies about 10 years ago.

Hope I am wrong but for the first time in 20+ years I have cancelled my divi reinvestment in Carrs.

The 10 for 1 consolidation and the sale of the milling business must be taken into account along with the returned special dividend.

Is he going to be marketing all PFD products or just Mr Kipling ? Some friends have just gone back To California with a suitcase full of Ambrosia custard ,Oxo cubes and HP sauce etc British products the Yanks can't get but they love them they are only available in the British store where they are imported by expats

Peter Page is moving from Executive chairman to CEO.Is that an upward move or a downgrade? Neil Austin is leaving to become CFO at the company who run Tebay Services and other farming enterprises. The progress report is still not progressing.

When we stayed in a Premier Inn in Leeds recently for 3 nights they did not clean the room every day "due to Covid" you could get it done if you requested it and get fresh towels ,tea etc from reception.

Personally I prefer this as it is no hardship to throw a duvet over the bed every morning. Rooms were only deep cleaned when you checked out.

Think we had this for tea on Saturday (from Tesco) very tasty!!!!!!!!!!!

Da Master ......... my HL account is a SIPP (drawdown) I think these cards came from ii (I split my holding between me & missis in ii and Hargreaves to get 3x Costa vouchers for £15 ,instead of £5 from one large holding) applied for discount card in all three accounts usually get HL card later.

Got my card this morning from Link . Just in time for our weekend away. 3 Nights free brekkie plus 10% discount for evening meals for three people not to be sniffed at.

Never forgive her for the debacle of return of capital to small shareholders after sale of Costa Coffee.

A box has now appeared on my account to tick if I want discount card!!!!!!!!!

Don't understand the voting bit.

This won't add much to the costs just one or two extra salaries plus expenses going round the various sites where only the people who can be spared (office workers maintenance cleaners etc ) will be attending the courses no production will be lost and they can catch up on their work later I've seen many of this type of initiatives none of which had a lasting effect on production and thence profits etc.

Mine are in a SIPP as well with Hargreave Lansdown and I've always got mine (after much prompting)

Has anyone received their Shareholders Discount card this year? It is a valuable perk in these hard times ;)
