unless there is a new futures market nobody told me about, i can only assume LSE forgot to put their clocks forward
Michael Stephen Interview on Sky News "Symphony's scientists have found a way to upgrade the plastic so that it will convert itself into biodegradable materials at the end of its useful life and will be recycled back into nature like a leaf or a piece of seaweed. It is crucial to understand that it does not just fall into fragments, but the molecular structure is dismantled so that it is no longer a plastic." "An added bonus is that if it does get collected before it has degraded it can be safely recycled with ordinary plastic." .
still not sure why UK is not having a biodegradable plastic debate right now, we don't seem to be able to think more creatively than to stick a tax on crap. otherwise, should see solid sp gains once we get past any BoDs ISA shenanigans. waiting with bated breath for weird price action...none so far.
it'll be one hell of a stopgap, possibly the rest of my life. to get the entire world to ban all oil based packaging may take a tad longer than you think. as for uptake of biodegradable plastic in the uk being crucial to the success of sym? well that is biodegradable rubbish, international sales have and will continue to drive growth. imo of course.
Oxo-biodegradable plastics will biodegrade on land and water and do not leave harmful residues.... they rapidly convert into materials which are no longer plastics and have become a food-source for naturally-occurring bacteria and fungi.
oxo-biodegradable plastics assoc. report. "Microplastics are a serious environmental problem. They are caused by the embrittlement and erosion of plastic, and these fragments of plastic can lie or float around for decades. • It is therefore no longer acceptable to use ordinary plastic for everyday items. • Everyday plastic items should urgently be made oxo-biodegradable, so that they will degrade and biodegrade in a much shorter time, if they get into the open environment. • It is essential to understand that oxo-biodegradable plastics do not just fragment – they rapidly convert at the end of their useful life, into materials with a low molecular weight which are no longer plastics and have become a food-source for naturally-occurring bacteria and fungi. • Bag taxes, and incentives to reduce and recycle are not enough, because thousands of tons of ordinary plastic will still get into the environment every day, where they will create microplastics. • Oxo-biodegradable plastics will biodegrade on land and water and do not leave harmful residues."
mind-numbing isn't it? big year for new orders and contracts, near all time low sp. baffling. your guess is as good as mine.
YES! sym have a great product with great potential and although i do not understand the decision to slash marketing in north america i do believe BoDs have done a respectable job managing the company. However I am invested here and i hate all the opaque manoeuvrings which keep the price down. you don't need to sell the business to me its the share manipulation and self interest of BoDs that does my head in. i certainly don't appreciate positive updates followed by share dumping.
of course i know 14.24 is a buy and 13,6 is a sell. and no i dont believe for one second that the trades have been sitting on the books for a while. its quite obvious there is a massive sell order in the background that the mms are struggling to shift. imo mms have done a good job keeping the price static when it should be plummeting. sell orders of this size are probably insider trades, so we come full circle, BoDs are dodgey as F*** . imho
this price action. 2,000,000 more buys than sells on friday price absolutely static. repeat of trading pattern today, price absolutely rock solid. its the first ever fixed price stock. nothing will move this share price not ever. knock yourselves out buy 5,000,000 and see if the price moves. rock solid WOW WOW WOW!
